Trying to remember.. / *’Drool’ emoji here* / MIBIT’s learning Udon / Bad memories / #Melan’sShenanigans / …Might have to deal with Garath

Another slow day. Most of the day was just to myself, working on that blog post and just overall chilling. But I’ve also off and on been thinking about what MIBIT said. It was so blunt, so “alright hun alright if this is what you want then it shall be done”.
He didn’t even try asking me “why do you not want to change your life? You have the opportunity of a lifetime to be happy and you want to throw all of that away and leave me sad and depressed when you die a horrible death for not wanting to do anything for me?” Half of me feels that yeah “that is what I wanted to see”, but the other half feels quite depressed… almost feeling I’m either guilt tripping myself or he’s doing that.
Only thing I can think of is, to only let that get to me if/when I ever do meet him IRL. I just keep being bothered when he said he “wanted to train me” to do pushups. That’s not being forced to change, that was offering to help. And I turned it down. ..I didn’t even give him a chance.
Maybe just maybe, if/when I ever do meet him IRL.. he might be the one that could finally undo decades of being too stubborn to change for the better. I don’t even know why I feel this around MIBIT that I didn’t when it came to Wolfdog. Just, something about him that I can’t put my finger on. And I don’t want to say what might be, that would likely ruin it.
Nah. I wanna enjoy the rest of my life on this planet with him. He is really special in my life.
Anyway, I’ve said enough. Let’s start this off!

As I said I was doing my own thing. And honestly I can’t even remember what I was doing for some reason. Mind’s a blank. I dunno why.
Ohh.. actually, I do remember asking Jero why he logged out after sending him an invite to chill when MIBIT was offline at the time. Said he was having “a really bad fever and headache”. A friend of his took him into a world with “extremely bright lights with the bloom overpowering so badly I started to feel nauseous”.. hmm. Maybe that club world MIBIT was in?
Then said his Stepmum was going to drop off a COVID-19 test to make sure he’s OK. Hmm. Going by what he told me, I doubt he has it. Probably has that “elliptic
seizures” thing most games warn you about at the beginning. Ahh, poor thing. 🙁
He feels it’s “the common cold”. Nah. Going by those symptoms, you just need to stay away from worlds like that. Then again I don’t know the full story of this.
But I do love how he said “I’ll be back online before you know it”.
I wanted to laugh as that’s a classic Jero response if I ever did see one, where he always finds something else than to keep his promises. But I get that I shouldn’t. “What if you’re wrong and you might never see him again?!” ..I doubt that. I feel he’ll be OK. Jero isn’t someone that takes unnecessary risks. Plus I did tell him “hopefully you’ll be OK” before he said that, so I am praying of a speedy recovery for him. 🙂 I just feel he’ll be good. He’s been through hell and back. He’ll bounce back.

The next thing remember is asking Klaus for the world that concert which happened on my birthday, as it was supposed to happen again tonight. He gave me the name of it and I told MIBIT we could play Sea of Thieves and then VRChat after.
He said me if we could play SoT Saturday, as he’s going to be doing sports and needs to do this and that to be ready. I was alright with that.

Finally, I did a funny. I was looking around in Steam and came across this..


Myst.. on Steam? 🤤 I remembered Cyan Worlds saying something about this several months ago, about the game coming out on the Switch. Checked it out.. my jaw dropped of the HD graphics, remembering what they looked like in the past.

My mind’s thinking “ok.. is it possible to get every. single. Myst game ever made with these graphics?”

So now I have realMYST, Myst: Masterpiece Edition, Myst 2, Myst 3, Myst 4, Myst 5 and Myst: Uru. So I have three Myst games I haven’t played yet (Myst 4, 5 and Uru). I’ve played Uru Live with angry, years ago. But to have the singleplayer version? HELL YEAH!!
And they’re all remastered with HD graphics. No more need for a CD or some wonky way with Windows to get the videos to play in the original Myst. They even have the old point and click controls like in the past. Mmm.
Well, now I can’t make fun of Kovo anymore of him simping to Destiny 2, because now I have simped to Cyan Worlds. lol
But I honestly I did this for my father. Now myself and his spirit can enjoy what really got me into PC gaming. He never had a good PC anymore that could play the old Myst
games, and now he can “use” mine. Looked at the pictures of the Masterpiece Edition of Myst and can see the classic graphics. Just updated 11 years in the future from its initial release back in 2000. Yet the game’s been out for 25 years, which makes sense.
So that means the game’s been out since 1995, which makes even more sense. Not 2000. So uh.. huh? Whatever, I have it. All it matters. 👍

MIBIT’s learning Udon

Now then, it’s time for our feature presentation of what I was originally going to talk about in here, then I started remembering certain parts.
Finally in VRChat after letting Steam update a bunch of games. Saw Melancholy on. Usually when he’s on he’s testing a world, but I sent him an invite anyway. Never received one, but I did get one from MIBIT, from a new world.. with a very.. funny name. He misspelled his own name to “Mipit” in the world title. So now his name will forever
be ‘Mipit’. 😂
Got in. ..Very nice. Said this is his first world in Udon. Wow. Wish I got pictures. Basically it’s a house-like thing. Multiple floors. But honestly I shouldn’t be surprised, as he claims he’s pretty damn good at world building. Says he removed all of his other worlds in Unity and forced himself to learn Udon. ..Well, that’s definitely one way to do it! He added that it was getting confusing which version of Unity he was in. Ehh, doesn’t affect me. I know where most of my avatar work is.
I then told him about the name of the world, and he lost his shit laughing uncontrollably. Can just imagine EXGAMING seeing that name and say “well now you’ll have to change your name to “MIPIT””, and he just kept laughing.
Ahh.. alright hun, alright. It isn’t that funny. Relax. He did. Later he tells me he’s
learning Udon to make some worlds for friends… and for us; our own private world. Oooh. Can’t wait to see what that looks like. 😉
This world even has a bed, that he may or may not had made it even more.. white. 🥰 Heh.
It was past 11pm when we were done. Searched for the name Klaus gave me and noticed there were no instances in that world.. huh? They did say “every Friday at 11pm”, right?
I looked up HoppingMad, and saw she had “At someone’s birthday.” listed as her status.
I asked Klaus if he knew what was going on. He.. of all people wasn’t acting at all surprised by this. Thought he’d be the one trying to invite us there.
I also (as a joke) snarkily replied using HoppingMad’s status with “I wish she was
at my birthday last Friday.” Thankfully he knew I was joking and never stated the
obvious.
Suddenly he’s asking me to join him, saying he got an avatar he’s really proud of.

Bad memories

Joined him in a world I swore I would never come back to.. for this is the world I remember meeting Grok in. I just happened to turn around and see… where he was playing those Arma 2 videos. I tried so hard to just focus on what Klaus was telling me.
Told him I have very bad memories of this world. I still remember Grok creepily following me when I was looking around for Wolfdog. While those memories happened about a month ago, they are still as fresh as if it was yesterday. *deeply sighs* I still feel bad
for Wolfdog, of him being kicked out of The Pack because of.. me. Even though he claimed it wasn’t my fault.
But, seeing MIBIT here, I wanted to get new (better) memories in my head. Even Blender joined us, and he showed off his latest work.. and holy fuck it’s so funny! And
then MIBIT felt he had to show off his work that honestly noone never really asked for. After that Blender showed off his channel’s trailer then had to leave as someone wanted to talk to him. Orion’s there and asked me if I ever heard of ‘Swedish Rock’ and showed me a sample. I said “honestly, Rock and Roll is Rock and Roll”, and trying to make it clear to both him and MIBIT that “I don’t really care about who sings it or how it was made, I just like the beat”.. aka, hun you don’t have to explain how you made your music when we’re listening to it, like when a beat’s about to hit and what it’s called. Noone asked to
know.
And MIBIT’s all “oh well if you want rock I’ll give you rock.. after this video’s over”. My mind feels “hun, please don’t embarrass me infront of my friends”. ..And that is exactly what he did when he plays screamer music. Orion’s all “this isn’t music, it’s just people screaming!” MIBIT laughs at him. Orion leaves sometime after, DMing me with his opinion on the music. I agreed with him, and that’s all that was said about it.
Now Melancholy’s in a joinable world.

I really, really wanted to go up to Melan ASAP and tell him “hey, the one I’m dating sometimes acts like we’re official by saying ‘back off he’s mine’, so uh watch out for that.” But I didn’t have time to even open up my mouth about it when MIBIT joins. Instead I waited for Melan to get far enough away to explain it to MIBIT. So I was still successful in explaining it. NapPie joins later, having some trouble with his headset.
We head to a few other worlds, two of them are cooking worlds where Melan can’t really help much as he’s in desktop. Then one time I saw MIBIT not moving.. him falling asleep in VR. Uh-uh!! MIBIT, go to bed normally! No sleeping in VR.
He does, thankfully. Told him I loved him and he said the same. Gave him a goodnight kiss and he hopped off.
Join another world, this one is a deceiving game. Blender was with me and even Kovo joined. And Melan was doing his Melan things. Such as one time where Kovo said he’s going to “kick my ass” over something I said to him, I ran over to Melan who was playing and said “so Kovo wants to kick my ass, you wanna get in on that action?”

The reaction I got out of Kovo was priceless when Melan came running full speed towards him! Ohh lord.
He did get me back a bit later, when Melan was like “spit on my ass daddy!!” to Kovo. He was visibly confused and I explained what Melan was talking about. Suddenly Kovo turns it around to “geeze Benie, you act like you’ve done that before!!” ..Only to MIBIT, not to Melan. 😛 And he wasn’t helping my case, agreeing with Kovo.
..How dare you betray your own brother!! lol

I’ll give you that victory, Kovo. Well done. I couldn’t get myself out of that. So, lol.

With just myself, Klaus and Kovo left in the world, Kovo asked us if we wanted to play
the “ghost game” as they’ve updated it majorly. Most of the ghosts now require a new tool to spot them, plus two new ghosts. And retexturing of all tools. It doesn’t look like the same game as it did before.
Had to take an Alka-Seltzer as my stomach was killing me. Plus my track belt was too tight around it. Took care of both and Kovo hopped off to join a call one of Klaus’ friends made.
Klaus on the other hand was happily bitch slapping me. I told him to get in the call and get off but he said he was waiting for someone to join him. But I just the last slap in and hopped off, then said “I’m switching out of VR”.
When I got my headphones on, I hear Klaus screaming my name and asked him “did you not hear me when I said I’m switching out of VR?” he said no, but said “someone’s here to see you, that demands your presence”. I asked “who” and he said “Garath”… really? The fuck does he want NOW?! I fixed the fucking world!
So I DM Garath myself and ask him “is the world fixed now?” ..No response, yet he’s demanding I get back on for no reason. I ask Klaus why does he want me on, and he said he wanted to hang with me. ..He was trying to pull me away from MIBIT several times.
I’m ‘this’ close from blocking him, but I know for a fact he’s going to go after Kovo and any other of my friends he can, demanding to know why I did. Then again.. honestly I’ll have people on my side that would block him too if he annoys them enough.
I’ve tolerated this guy for far too long.

Now for Phasmophobia. Kovo has an issue now that he can’t pull out his journal anymore in VR. Not sure as to why, but I saw the proof right infront of me. Might be a new bug
with WindowsMR, yet according to the official discord it should still be working. He even had one of Klaus’ friends who was watching through my eyes (aka game streaming), trying to help him out. It’s so weird.
But anyway, we played with the new tool; the ‘D.O.T.S. Projector’. Some ghosts have been changed around to require this tool as evidence. There’s even a new ghost that requires you to look through a camera.. manually, and catch said ghost going through the projector. EESH.
4:30am came. Kovo went to bed. Was just me and Klaus. Both of us went in, up the stairs. I’m going on the balcony.. the ghost begins to hunt. I’m hearing humming in my ears and I’m trying not to scream, quickly darting into a room and closing the door as quick as I could. Klaus is nearly up the stairs and I hear him say “oh shit!!” The humming and lights stop flickering and I open the door. I see the silhouette of the ghost disappearing infront of me and Klaus’s dead body on the stairs.

Back to the van I go! 😂 I wanted to bust out laughing at Klaus, that Kovo got his revenge.
If only Kovo actually did that instead of me, the revenge would had been even more bittersweet. 🙂
