R.I.P (a small piece of) Net Neutrality. The fight heats up

The day has come (April 23rd). However, this isn’t Game Over for the internet.. not yet. Let’s say, ‘the cap was removed’. And the ‘bottle’ will be emptied on a date that is unknown to us (at this time). The reason, is that is when the courts signed it into law, that Net Neutrality will be no more.

However… the fight doesn’t end here; not by a long shot. It only turned up the heat on Pai’s ass, with several states planning to sue the FCC (in order to protect the bill).
Though IMO, we’ve seen this same song and dance before (with trying to sue the FCC).. yet it never happened. But reading more, this is planning to go further (in getting Congress involved in it).
And since Congress is owned by the Republicans (in both wings), it won’t get far. But a “heated debate” is likely.

And finally, there’s one thing ISPs have to do (when Net Neutrality dies); they have to tell you that they’re going to block or throttle your content (before they do it).
But the way they tell you, isn’t regulated. They can easily add it in (as fine print) to the agreement you make when you first get your service. You know, the thing most Americans don’t really bother fully reading? Yeah…

To end the post, I’ve actually been waiting for The Humanist Report to talk about it. And he finished it about an hour ago.
The Beginning of the End of Net Neutrality is Officially Here
