Reformat completed. Lock up issue still not fixed

Just got done reformatting. It took like 15-20 minutes, but it was worth it.
I had to reinstall Half-Life 2, and the Source SDK Base, to play Calamity again to see if it will lock up. But first, I played with one of my Emulators.
Now an emulator isn’t something I like to talk about on the web. With the discussions about them being… illegal if you don’t own the original game. But anyway, long before I reformatted my drive, I played Super Mario 64. Now it locked up the same way as FarCry 1 and Calamity. Not even Emulators are safe!

After the reformat, and as I was reinstalling HL2, I played Super Mario 64 again. And… IT DIDN’T LOCK UP! 😀
Finally playing Calamity now. I just got past the first part, with NO LOCK UPS! 😀 So I go into the next part, and.. LOL FUCK UP!!!

So… it’s not fixed. It’s my video card. However, it didn’t lock up within the first minute and 50 seconds after launching the game. Now I don’t know.
The software-level issue is probably contributing to the main lock up issue. So it looks like I have a side issue, with the main issue. A double whammy, if you will.
This means that this issue is going to be even harder to pinpoint than before. It could be any file…folder…game… anything, that was originally on the E drive before reformatting.

Playing Super Mario 64 again, I’m seeing the same thing with Calamity, again. This time, instead of locking up within the first minute and 50 seconds, it locks up within the first half of an hour! D:

There is a light at the end of this long-ass tunnel though. Angry has sent me a check for $100, half of what he owes me back from the times in Wurm where I gave him money. I should get it sometime this week. With this, I should be able to afford that shiny new video card I’ve been talking about in an earlier entry.

It was fate that brought me to Newegg. Because I wanted to be “one of the cool kids”.
