Still going through feelings of anxiety and unsure’ness of going back to VR, but at least it wasn’t as bad after I typed in what I said and told people who said to keep at it. They all respect my decision, which makes me feel a bit better.
If I can’t get over it, they know I’m not a quitter. That alone removes quite a lot of anxiety.
So I went to bed early, feeling quite tired. And this morning I had probably one of the scariest nightmares in a long time. It’s related to the lack of Net Neutrality, and I feel the nightmare was created by this video of cell phone companies throttling access to YouTube and Netflix. It also could be fueled by Article 13 in the EU (which doesn’t affect the USA).

But I think this would be considered, if the lack of Net Neutrality and Article 13 were in the USA…
The nightmare, simply put, is Discord rolling out ‘meme packages’; blocking access to several free emojis (and even detecting if you’re posting a meme in any server), making people have to pay $50 /mo just to post memes (and emojis) again.
I could also see the chaos that happened after it; rioting in the streets. Things like this.

This felt like a warning, that I was tasked to tell people of what’s to come in the future. It may not even happen, but it just felt so real.
I just hope this nightmare doesn’t turn into a reality.
