May 9th is ‘Red Alert Day’ to save Net Neutrality

As mentioned yesterday in The Humanist Report’s latest installment of Net Neutrality, it seems Senate Democrats are actually true to their word of attempting to rally support to protect the bill. They just need one more Senator’s vote to send in their petition, which is why they are asking Americans to contact their senators, and implore them to support this petition to save Net Neutrality.

But, why all the sudden are they doing this.. and why should you even care (when they’re actually working in the favor of 86% of Americans)? It’s because of the midterm elections. What better way to be ‘buddy buddy’ with people, then try to get them to vote for you? Of course, if the hounds actually do a good thing (such as undo the repeal of Net Neutrality), then they deserve a treat.

The time is now to (once again), contact your lawmakers of anyway possible, to show your support for Net Neutrality.
