Well this is new. Yesterday in Facepunch I’ve seen these threads showing you how you can alter how many ratings you got.
A bunch of asses took advantage of this exploit and began spamming Dumb ratings for every person that posted in FP, including myself.
Now this may seem a harmless joke, but it’s slowing Facepunch down to a craw, making it difficult to even edit a reply. Basically a better way to say that the forum’s getting DDoS’ed again.
Eventually Garry got out the ole banhammer and started beating down anyone that posted the exploit, nomatter if they did it to be funny or they where actually spamming. Quite alot of 05’ers went down. Very sad.
Right now it seems quiet. But the exploit codes are still out there. Only a matter of time until another asshole abuses it.
Tomorrow, Garry will pull the plug on this exploit.

So. With that out of the way, lets talk about Spore’s EP again. Here I have the money, but now I don’t want to buy it.
Basically over the screenshots I saw while trying to find out what version would Spore be updated to, so I’ll find a trainer for it.
It seems to me that, well, you got to setup what the captain of the ship will look like, and then you basically beam down to a planet and it’s like a 3rd person shooter.
I want to be able to do peaceful missions. Beam down to the planet and take readings, and find out if there was intelligent life once on the planet, and if the planet is breathable or not, then go back to my home planet and have the scientists there analyze the data and see what could be done.
Instead, you gotta go to war and shit. But I don’t even know if there is peaceful missions or not. I haven’t really seen anything about it. All I saw was those screenshots, and they where mostly fighting scenes.
It looks like it’s focused heavily on the fact you can create your own adventures, and planets. Instead of actually playing it normally.
But Spore was always built around it’s playerbase.
I’ll need someone else to answer my questions about this game. Then I will make my decision if I should get it.
