Violent Weather / I have a Base

Woke up this morning, and noticed how… dark it was, and it was 10:47 in the morning, yet, it looked like it was in the evening. I heard what sounded like just a regular little thunderstorm. But something wasn’t right.

10:55 in the morning, a massive bow echo moves in, bringing 70MPH winds, flooding rain from 1 to 5″ an hour, and alot of lightning. Just under 6,000 bolts.
Once it passed, it really left it’s mark. Though we got no damage, other parts of the city and especially Louisville was dealing with flooded roads, and power lines down.
According to the local weather, this monster started in Iowa, and kept going for hundreds of miles, and a truckload of storm reports as it marched it’s way towards us.
Tomorrow could see more severe weather. But it should stay north of us, and come overnight into Saturday.
This was just one of the wild, but scary pictures of when the storm moved in;

This is what’s known as a “Shelf Cloud“. The leading edge of the line that went though the area, taken by a viewer from WHAS11(one of the local channels here) from Charlestown, IN, around 10:45AM. When you see this, high winds of 70MPH are likely. And notice how it just turns day into night.
They showed video of the lightning, striking the Ohio River, and a few buildings in Downtown Louisville.
What was so eerie about these clouds… they’re the same ones you see before a fucking tornado drops out of the sky. Dark, low-hanging, greenish clouds. Scared the crap out of me.

.
In other news. I now finally have a solid base on how much to save up for. I talked to the guy that installed my computer, and he gave me all the prices I needed.
Though it’s more than will have for the end of this month. So I’m forced to wait ’till August to have the money.
This means no TS3… so, I gotta wait. So I might as well make the best of it to make the waiting less strenuous, by trying to play my old games.
I keep forgetting how I didn’t let this issue stop me when I was trying to replace my PSU before.
