I haven’t done much movement in leveling up today, except doing an old quest in Desolace of siding with one of the centaur races.

I can’t help but think I may be wasting my time doing this. Even with a pet, I still feel… lonely. Plus, I feel I keep being asked that question; “Ben. You already have a Hunter. Why make another one?”.
And I tell them “I want to make my first Level 80 Horde char”… yet those words depress me. Because, I’m having to pretty much start all over again. All the hell I forgot I went though when I was leveling Benie up. In other words, I don’t wanna go through it all over again.

The 2nd thing, is being on the Horde side. You see, I don’t know any of them. I feel like shit compared to them, even with this mount. I feel so weak with this shitty gear I have compared to them.

Which goes to the 3rd thing. I’m thinking too far ahead instead of focusing what’s right infront of me. It feels like I’ll never get to 80. Never ever. That I will be stuck as a low level forever.
I’m even going to places I’m not supposed to, aka Northrend. I found the zeppelin for Borean Tundra, outside of Org. It goes to this “Warsong Hold”… and MAN is it massive. It looks like it’s half the size of Dalaran.
Inside is a map of Northrend, showing the locations of the scourge, and the Alliance/Horde bases. The only other place I’ve seen that map was in Zul’Drak.
There’s also this awesome lift that goes to the outside. If you have a flying mount, you can use this as a platform to go inside the hold, and you can fly in the hold.
Also, the zeppelin docks inside this place. It’s the very zeppelin I keep seeing cruising by Valgrade Keep.

During me looking around, high levels where looking at me like “WTF?! What’s a low level doing here?”. I would probably say the same thing if I saw a low level walking around.
Which is what I mean. I won’t just settle down and focus on “Ok. I’m a Level 31. I can go here or here.”

And then there’s a 4th thing. Solo questing gets boring, which makes me feel lonely. Also, there’s no real place for lowbies to just relax after a boring day of leveling, like the Alliance has with Goldshire. In Org, all I see is basically all I see in Stormwind. Level 80’s running around and chilling out, with a few lowbies running by.

Life was better when the level cap was 60. Then it wouldn’t feel like it will take me forever to get there. But also then I would be without a mount until Level 40. But at least I would have the cash to afford it without paying someone. Plus, it would feel more meaningful.
In my opinion, they should’ve left that alone, since Level 40 is halfway now, it would feel like a true achievement.

Where’s this promise Blizzard made that it will be quicker to go from 1-60 when TBC was released? It doesn’t feel any easier to me. It feels just as long as it took me in the past to go from 1-60.

I wish I could just go to Org one day, open up Trade chat and say “LF a friend to talk to, to not make leveling boring.” without being laughed at.
Maybe the only thing I need to do is just do a few instance runs with a group, and get my mind off of leveling, and onto the fun of WoW. Like to SFK or something. Unfortunately, tomorrow is maintenance, and it’s going to be hard to look for a group.

My Tauren Hunter has hit Level 30 today! Go me. Though I only had 8g on me, I needed 40g to buy a mount + training.
So I went to a ‘reliable’ source I’ve been with before; tusongold.com.
Let me tell you guys something. I do NOT like having to do this! Because;
1. It’s against the ToU(Terms of Use) of Blizzard to buy, and especially sell gold.
2. It’s pathetic having to pay for something you can get yourself, if you would just use a little effort and learn to love farming instances for the rest of your life.
3. … I can’t come up with 40g on my own?? It’s only 40g! Wtf!? Blizzard expects you to be rolling in dough at this level.
4. These idiots can barley speak English. It’s like “Ok u buy gold from me”.

Here I have told countless gold beggars to “quest and you’ll get the money”, and I’m faced with the same predicament. Yeah. The irony. But at least I don’t beg for money! No sir! … I pay someone to give me it.
It’s pathetic to say the least. My determination to do everything that’s legally possible to get it just floats out the door, when I see an easy way out by paying. No suffering.
I guess because of the trials I’ve had on Benie, that I don’t want to experience it again.

To make a long, and I mean a long story, short, I paid for the gold, waited several hours, had to explain to the idiot what a fucking “PM” was instead of call me to let me know(seriously, how long has he been in business, and he doesn’t know what a PM is?!), and got it. So now I have the mount.
This means I can finally go to Desolace and quest, right? Wrong… apparently I fucked up as I was trying to level him. This was obvious when I got on my Tauren Shaman(no, not the Level 51 I used to have, he’s a 31), and saw he has yet to do the quests that I’ve done as my Hunter.
Speaking of my Shaman, I used him to go to Org and get someone to get my Hunter into my Horde guild; “I Dont Join Guilds”. This name is the original guild name I had when I leveled Benie up, but it was after I had the guild; “The Human Spirit”. That was my first ever fake guild.

Anyway, back to my Tauren Hunter. I’m faced with a dilemma. I’ll have to level up somewhere else than Desolace, and it pisses me off that I didn’t think of questing in Ashenvale when I had the chance, helping myself even further. But I wanted to stay in The Barrens. Now it’s too late.
So far though, it seems I’m focused to go to Hillsbrad Foothills. I dinged to Level 31 there, but now it’s telling me to go to the Arathi Highlands. And that’s too high for me right now. It’s the same level as Desolace — 30-40, with the Level 40’s near the border between the two zones I mentioned above, Hillsbrad Foothills and Arathi Highlands.

As I was leveling on my Hunter, a got a PM from a guy who goes by “Paul” from tusongold.com’s Customer Service, asking me questions about who’s my main and what servers do I play on. I questioned why is he asking me these questions, and he didn’t have an answer, then he asked me how can tusongold.com be improved, due to the ordeal I had with them.
I explained that PMing ingame should be an alternative from calling by phone, and to fix the damn errors I had when trying to login to my account there. They act like ‘we didn’t even know about this until you told us’…
He then said he could help me out the next time I need gold, by getting it to me quickly, and also giving me bonus gold. So I guess that would be good.

Somewhat-related news, I decided to hop on Benie for awhile and take my Nether Drake(who I named “Drago”. I refuse to say the source of it) for a spin around Northrend, and did some spying on two Horde towns, checking them out and seeing what they might look like once my Horde char gets there… IF he gets there.
I’m damn surprised I managed to even get Benie up from a little Level 1, to what he is now. I wish I could go back in time to see how I did it. But I figure I probably did every instance possible for my level, unlike my Horde char. Another bad mistake on his part.
Here I’m thinking “surly the soloable quests alone will be enough to get my level up. It worked for my Druid of getting him from 70 to 80”. So far this thought seems to be flawed.

The reason why I don’t want to do instances? I’m an impatient little twerp! I’m sick and tired of spamming “LFG (instance abbreviation here)”, waiting for hours in a capital city, for an instance that no one seems to care about.
I feel it’s pointless to even look for a group anymore, due to “Let me go get my main and I’ll run you through, he’s an 80”, or we start filling a group of people the level of the instance, then we’re waiting for a Tank or a Healer and some guys think of leaving, and then we get a high level joining us, 1-hit killing everything in the instance and taking our XP/kills away, making it pointless to even shoot.
Blizzard should nerf it where you HAVE to be within a certain level range to be in a group for an instance, to make it fair for everyone.

Example, I as Benie try to help this low level group though an instance. I should get a message saying “You’re too high to be in this group. Solo it yourself and let them get someone their level!”
Of course that does have some unfairness. Say like another example, I try to run my alt through an instance, and it won’t let me because I’m too high.
Wow. I just defeated my own suggestion. That’s sad.

Yes. I’m currently playing as a Tauren Hunter, named ‘Beefhunter’, with a wolf named Howler. Level 29 right now. I’m trying to make him my first Level 80 Horde char, so I got a long way to go.

Let me just say I now have a new desire to say FUCK YOU to any and all Harpies.
Those damn blasted humanoid-like birds have pissed me off for the last time! Those damn cowards seem to always fight in groups, and love to gank me. They know I can’t handle more than two at a time, and use that to their advantage.

Still, the main reason why I made a Horde char is to just see what it’s like leveling as Horde, especially when I get in the Level 51-80 range. You see, my highest Horde char, a Tauren Shaman, is a 51. I’ve never had a Level 60 Horde char.
I’m going to change that by having a Hunter. And what better than my favorite race of the Horde; Tauren.
So I’m not saying “Alliance sucks so I made a Horde char!”, though for being a Horde char I’m supposed to hate them, but I don’t.

In other, news, if you call it news, due to my “I don’t wanna risk seeing my computer fuck up” and “Nobelgarden just made WoW childish”, I missed Children’s Week, and the Darkmoon Faire outside of Shattrath City.
Sure, Darkmoon Faire will swing around again, but Children’s Week only comes once a year… and I missed it. Missed the chance to add another non-combat pet to my collection.
However, since I’ve gotten my new, no-named PSU, WoW hasn’t locked up. It’s been something like two weeks since it was installed, and lets say I’m very pleased. But I still think it could happen again.
That’s why I’m planning to save up to get another one. And install it myself.

First off, I’d like to say my Druid dinged to 80 early Tuesday morning. He dinged in The Storm Peaks, in K3 after turning in a quest. It was later than Benie, yes. But my Druid didn’t explore like Benie did, or do the instances he did.

Anyway, to the main thing. I was in Goldshire, wondering if I’ll ever be able to dual client again. Which is for “A new issue”. Now I cannot test to see if I can dual client without getting a BSOD.
This leads me to believe, that I’ll never be able to dual client again. Then again it could be linked with the hard lock issue; be just my PSU causing all three issues.

The last thing. Still in GS. I overhear these guys saying they’re wanting to go to ZG(Zul’Grurub). Knowing this would be my chance to own Hakkar, I agreed to go with them. So they start getting more people, and we’re doing ZG, down Hakkar, and soon they wanna do Onyx(Onyxia’s Lair). Of course I wanted to. I never did Onyx in my life.

So we do Onyx, and own her. Here’s me with Norb, next to her corpse. The only proof I got of downing her;

After that, some people wanted to do Magisteer’s Terrace. I reluctantly volunteered to look for more for the raid by staying in Dalaran while the remaining raid members(ones that didn’t leave after Ony was dead) went there.
I waited for 15 minutes it seemed like, going “LF Healer for Magisteer’s Terrace”.. FINALLY I had someone. But due to the time I took, I only had a half an hour to do it.
So we tried to do it. Since I never really been in MT, I didn’t know how close/far I was from the final boss. I remember this device overlooking this beautiful view of the coast of the island. There’s a movie with it that takes you on a little tour of the instance.
After that, time was getting very thin for me. I had warned them over and over I had to go, but the raid leader didn’t listen.
Anyway, I was trying to kill this one group over to the left. Didn’t even realized someone aggroed the whole area! People where dying, but me and Norb stood strong, owning these bastards left and right until I was out of combat.
Me and this other 80 Hunter where the only survivors out of it. Due to the bad pull, people began to leave. I wish they just found a replacement for me. But it was that pull that ended it.

But anyway, I had fun. To be able to FINALLY down Onyxia after all of those years… that meant alot to me. Even though I didn’t have a chance to get her head.
Maybe in the future, I’ll do another Ony run, and finally get her head one of these days.
