I’m happy to report that I’ve made Gmod go through hell today. I’ve blew up Nukes. I created tornadoes. I flew around. I built. Including having Pandora or Winamp active. And not one lock up! 😀
My Space Station is corrupted. However I’m still worried to even rebuild now. What if it happens again? What if I just recreate what fucked up the dupe? What exactly caused it to start locking up my system? How far in the revisions did this shit start?
And the most important thing… HOW am I going to rebuild it, and where do I start to rebuild it.
I wish angry was on and willing to help. But he’s been on Snooze all fucking day today.
I have reported my dupe to the SBEP team, thinking and hoping they will do something to make it stop locking my system up.. if they can even recreate the problem. I feel I’m wasting my time doing that, that they won’t be able to do anything. I even lied when I said that I “lost” my previous revisions, thinking they’ll take pity on me.
Anyway, this lock up issue. Gmod seems stable enough to build again… but for how long? Something tells me it’s going to start goofing up in a few days from now, since it might say; “I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!! I MUST FUCK UP!!”
It could be behaving the same way WoW was when I came back. Was fine for about a week, and then WHAM. That’s why I’m still hesitant to even build anything right now until I KNOW it won’t lock up when I’m very busy building.
The other news, we all know that 3D Realms has closed it’s doors because they ran out of money. Well, someone in Facepunch found a video on Youtube that was released just yesterday, showing actual ingame footage of Duke Nukem Forever. Also includes animation testing, and this interesting, hilarious Ego bar.
In other words, this shit is leaked.
I watched it… and wow. But Youtube removed the movie, due to the fact it’s leaked footage.
