Wurm has been updated with a Halloween thing (ends November 1st). There’s now a chance that some mobs could drop Halloween-themed items once butchered. But this isn’t the reason I came on. I wanted to see if Tulsi was done with his shack yet.
He’s made two walls so far, so that’s great. I can only hope he stays on more and actually enjoys the game.
A lava spider huntin’ I will go
Meanwhile, I saw two lava spiders to the west. I swear they breed like rabbits (as I had just killed enough of them where they would go away). Yet they’re coming back, like a weed.
Well, it’s time to get the hedge clippers, because I’m about to clip off their legs with my axe. Saw the leader of this ‘invasion force’. Instead of dealing with its servants, I went right for the leader. Had to get help from the guards (because there’s no way I can solo a champ lava spider). After killing it, I took it with me (for Tulsi to enjoy, because that’s the way he rolls). I’ve also been butchering them, hoping they would drop the Halloween themed items. No such luck, though.
I also took the time to clear out that abandoned mine to the WNW. No trolls thankfully, but there were rats, a few lava spiders, two black bears (one of them was really noming on me), and a lava fiend.
Visited by a ghost of the past
Killed one more lava spider that somehow hid from me while I was on a rampage killing its brothers and sisters (even taking on three of them at once and surviving). Went back home. Was about ready to head in, when a strange rowboat placed right infront of the north gate caught my eye.
I originally assumed it was Tulsi doing his thing again, yet I doubt it. Especially the way it was named “a familiar face”. I examined it… and saw it was owned by “Benie”.
Oh. No. No! NO NO no!! NO GOD PLEASE NO!! NO!! NOT… angry!! Ohh FUCK!
For those who don’t know, ‘Benie’ used to be my original account of first joining Wurm in 2009. I gave it to angry so I could create ‘Dragonhead’.
If angry is here, who knows what’s next in store? But most importantly, how in the FUCK did he know I live here?! Yet the answer is obvious; he knows about this site. He probably has known ever since our argument that separated us.
And if he’s to read this, I’m just going to say that if you (angry) knew I was going to freak out and make a blog post about this.. you still know me too well, even past the eight years of our ‘relationship’.
Clearly he’s playing his little angry headgames with me, and I’m sure this is just the start. Nevertheless, this isn’t going to slow down or stop with the redesigning of the deed in November. Though, angry, if you’re still reading, what would had really freaked me out, was the boat being named “Neveron”. For the ones that don’t know, that was our true first co-op town in JK:H. It was after I got bored (and frustrated) with my homestead.
And ever since the Freedom server opened up, he’s been missing it.
This ‘sighting’ of angry brings up many questions. One being.. why now? He had months to do this. Did he just recently find this website? Or was this his way of a Halloween prank (that he’s been waiting for the right moment)? And as for how he found me, as I said it’s quite obvious. He put two and two together. Probably has an alt I don’t know about.. hell, could’ve been someone that we met when DTH was being built.
But whatever, it’s no big deal. The boat will eventually decay.
