I believe I have a deed redesign idea, folks!

I feel I finally, after months since moving in and designing DTH with Saint’s help, have an idea I actually like.
Now I was going to go with the “let’s see what happens if I was to put the ‘canal’ where it was before” idea, but I stated that I didn’t know where to put the rest of the stuff. However, I actually liked this one idea I had with the horse pens and the cart storage, and a bridge crossing over (and really wanted to see if I could get this same idea to work elsewhere).
But my house, I wanted it to be the focal point of the deed. And so I tried this other plan I’ve been working on, of widening the basin around the token and then having the house on a hill (to basically use the expansion of the deed to my advantage). I also played with that same idea of the horse pens, bridge, and cart storage. And I’m really liking what I’m seeing here.
I’ve been working on this off and on for a few days now, and as I said in the title..I believe I finally have a deed redesign idea that I like.
But enough talking, here’s some pictures. Note that the pine trees (and lack thereof) are just placements of what it would look if I let the deed get overgrown by trees;
What the approach would look by boat.

‘GM view’ shot of the new design’s layout.

A shot of one of the roads looking at the smaller-sized storage building.

This is possibly the best idea planning I’ve done in a long time, with seating around a Chesnut and showing the relocated cart storage and storage

The relocated animal pens. Going back to the old design that I used in OR (yet was also copied from others who did this). The split is there to allow for the South gate of the deed.

The new view from my house’s balcony.

One of the two ramps leading up the house, and the new ‘docks’ for our boats. This can even support a Corbita..if I decide to dredge the ‘canal’ floor to allow passage for larger boats(and also the lake).

Player view of the house, from the double bridge connecting to the token.

A slight relocation of the farm(still on the same side of the deed), with four statues (two Statue of Troll, and two Statue of Demon). Will give me something to do.

B2’s Diner will be re-purposed as a fishing hut, while these two kidney-sized buildings will serve as the new Grinding Floor. This time both Cooking and Forging will be next to eachother, making it much easier to prepare and fuel them.

And finally… the new ‘Clay Pit’ with easy access to the clay just outside the deed.

This deed’s main idea was originally inspired by Amish Estates (the deed of Saint’s ‘second home’ in Xanadu). I’ve had this plan for a month, and just now been starting to work on it. And the stream splitting the cart garage and animal pens, was inspired by Black Brigade in Exo(of course). Except having the two like that was my own idea.
I really, really like how this has turned out. Everything looks streamlined, and I’m taking advantage of the deed expansion. It feels like “my deed”, and definitely a place I would want to live.
But you might be asking yourself (that is, if you were somehow staring over my shoulder as I was typing this): “What about Tulsi’s house? Won’t this get in the way, and where would it go?” Do remember that his house is a 1×1 shack.. barely even a house, but when you’re a newbie in Wurm, you got to start somewhere. Point is, his house won’t be an issue. And if it is, I can easily move whatever he has (when I’m ready) to a spot where it won’t be in the way, and even rebuild the 1×1 for him.
So, yeah. It won’t be a problem for me. Though he might feel that he did all of this work for nothing, I will just tell him that “you got the skill, and the knowledge. That’s more important.” And hopefully he’ll agree with me. If not, then.. well, I have warned him that I was going to redesign the deed, and he should had put 2 and 2 together and thought “he might need to relocate my house”.

And as to when I’m going to get stated with this huge redesign project (that would possibly take a few weeks or longer)…hmm. Well, I got two games I need to review (that I’ve been putting off), and I also need to get back into Minecraft.
So, I guess November 1st would be a good time to do this? Hopefully then, Tulsi would be long done with his 1×1 (he’s just now doing the planks by the way).
I just don’t want to do it while he’s active (and then having to tell him to move his stuff as it might be in the way). Plus, I need to make buy the materials (mainly the mortar I’ll need for the storage building, which what I feel could be quite pricey(depends on the QL)). But since Cele is a PvE server (and I’m in a fenced-in deed), QL doesn’t matter here.
