A lot happened since I came back (after the whole incident with Tulsi and Jake). First off, I knew what I had to do. Enough running away. I need to be an adult and talk to him in a civilized way, and try to talk about this. THIS, is the mature way of dealing with a problem like this.
Though I was at home, checking on something that has been eating at my mind ever since I left home on Thursday. I wanted to see if my horse gear needed reimping. The horseshoes were fine, so was the bridle. But the saddle needed some of it (at 64QL). I was also dropping off stuff B2 gave to me which were imped (including one of the 11 lamps I brought).
Made it back, using BB as a parking space (instead of with how packed the canal is with boats). Glad there’s that option. Yes it’s longer of a walk, but at least I can actually see my boat (instead of trying to sort through everyone else’s boats).
Up to the impalong, and I looked for Jake. He wasn’t on. Suddenly Punishlife said in local: “you got 8 minutes, Enki coming”. Remembering today’s the day Enki said he was going to do something in the arena, I asked Punish in a PM if I was right, and ran there as fast as I could. He told me to stay out of the bottom as there’s a competition, and I thanked him for the advice.
I’ll deal with Jake later, I thought. I wanna see a FIGHT! 😀
Made it to the arena (having to stop several times due to my screen freezing up (aka my CPU pegging at 100% usage.. poor thing). What was going on at the arena was a guy, soloing several worgs. I really wanted to come down there and assist (as they’re just wolves), but was told that he had it under control. So I just watched, and sure enough this guy solo’d them all! Go you! 🙂
I suddenly saw Jake in local as I was talking. He seemed to not notice me. I opened up a PM with him and said: “Hey, Jake. Could we possibly talk (hopefully civilized)? I want to bury this hatchet.” Got ‘Jakerivers is not currently available, please try again later.’..proving he blocked me. I was hoping to talk to him directly and not get anyone else involved in this, but I asked Punishlife: “Hey, can you please tell Jake in a PM to unblock me (and that I want to talk in a civilized manner)?”
A minute passed, and he responds with “he says, “fuck off”” Took awhile to come to my senses after that, and thanked him for doing this. He never asked me what’s going on (thankfully), like Jake already told him.
So..wow. So uh, much for having a reasonable conversation with this guy? I tried to tell my brain “let it go, okay? Enough’s enough. Drop it.”, yet it’s all “what the fuck happened to deserve that response? WHAT?! I MUST KNOW!! ARGH!!”
Fuck my brain sometimes. 😛
Enjoyed the rest of the impalong, watching the arena. Tulsi later on comes online and wants to also watch it. So I have to use B2 to escort him, telling him what Punish told me about not going down to the bottom (yet knowing these words, he won’t listen). See, last time (with Jake), I should had known he was going to do this, and make sure to tell him (before I even got to the impalong), NOT to do those things that would embarrass me!

I knew what would happen to him if he went down there. He would die. Simple as that. Lead him up the stairs (the best I could, since he never used a staircase in this game before). Continued to enjoy the show. The guy that solo’d had died to a pack of trolls, and Enki brought in the next team, starting easy (champ goblins) and slowly working up. Was quite entertaining. It was Round 7, with 30 hellhounds. I’m telling Tulsi (as B2) that this is going to be so awesome (thinking he’s watching the show with me).
…Little did I know, that he was watching it from another perspective, as in doing exactly what I said NOT to! Walking out on the fight floor, during a fight and saying “wao”.
I wanted to say “TULSI, GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE!!” Punish said “enki kill penadragon”. Then I thought evilly (as this would teach him to not listen to me for his own safety) and said “Yes, kill him.” He shouts “BENIE, i will reveal your skype conversation with jakie!!!” …freaked out and tried to close out the window, but couldn’t. Then I PM’d him as he ran out of the arena, and I said “You know I was play-acting, yes?” …Thank fuck nothing bad happened in local after that.
Rescuing Tulsi
During Round 8, Tulsi PMs me and says “i died”, and something about he didn’t go down to the bottom of the arena this time. Though I never read the entire thing (as I was busy being focused on the fight with several champ trolls), he calls me a dumbass for not paying attention (I deserve it). But now that I have his full attention, he’s at Esert. So I’m forced to leave and get there. One cool thing about this, is this’ll be the first time I’ve been there since the town’s redesign. Had to pull up the community map to help me out here. And I see what appears to be a new canal connecting directly to Esert (that I sworn wasn’t there when I first explored the server).
Took the ‘new’ canal.. at least I think it’s new. I need to go over my pictures, just to make sure of this. It -may- had existed before, but I’m not sure. But I digress. I finally made to.. woah! DAMN! Esert looks AWESOME now!! Never had a chance to hop out and explore (probably will do this when the impalong is over and it’s time to go home). Tulsi’s here. I wanted to hear it from him if he found the layout of the starter town good (but logs out).
Getting back to the impalong proved to be more difficult than I hoped. It took a good 20+ minutes until I finally found the right canal, then just followed the bridges back. Docked at the ramp to the place, telling Tulsi on Skype that we’re here and either he can log on or stay off, and he chose to stay off. Fine with me, at least he’s safe (and I don’t have to worry about him). Back to the arena.
Impalong wrapping up?
By the time I got back, one of the four had died (Punish). While that was all going on, as B2 I started seeing a lack of people imping stuff. Remembering the host saying the 22nd it would end, I thought this was a sign that the impalong ends pretty soon. Yet I never once thought “they’re probably all at the arena”.
Back with DH, the team had died to a group of nogumps. Enki was quite happy to be done with it, yet decided to have a ‘final finale’ with the rest of us (the ones that watched the carnage). Time to gear up! Rushed back to the armory when I heard someone say “lol champ goblins infront of the armory!” Yet my CPU didn’t like it one bit, forcing me to stop several times (and not be a part of the action). Several named mobs were infront of me, waiting to be slaughtered. Crabs, wildcats, lava spiders, bears, and even pheasants. I left the pheasants alone, not wanting to piss off anyone (while others killed them). I wanted more to kill, but Enki was done for the night.
The number of forges being active continues to dwindle, with some people saying “time to go home, thanks for a great time!” I felt like kicking myself in the head for leaving. I could’ve had my lamps imped by now! Also because of this (and knowing tomorrow’s the work week for many), I suggested to Tulsi that I should take him home (incase this is the end of the event, I didn’t want to wait for him while he’s in school).
He hopped on and out of my boat, hoping to meet some people here (and possibly cause more havoc to embarrass me by accident). Instead he said he was bored and wanted to go home. Took him home while keeping B2 here (just incase). And it’s good thing I did, as someone went over to the BS section of the forges (yes, they’re finally named properly now). Dropped off a lamp, and it got imped!
Meanwhile, I got Tulsi on and crossed over to Deli. Told him to move to let me know he’s still with me. He did. Sat course for Cele. Getting ready to spin 180*..suddenly he disembarks without warning, forcing me to spin back around to get to him. He hops on, then disembarks again. I’m thinking he’s lagging or something, and moor. He gets back on as I haul the anchor, and then spin once again toward the server border..then he logs out. God damnit, Tulsi! I asked in Skype if he crashed (as that’s always a possibility), and he says “I thought we were in Cele” (even after telling him NOT to log off until I tell him to). He was confusing the server message about “you will leave this server and enter Celebration”.
He comes on again, and I make the transfer no problem. The reason he has to remain on during server transfers (and this even goes to B2), all passengers must be online during this thing (because of just the way the process works). He would be stuck on the other side if he logs out during the transfer.
Made it home pretty late (due to a SW strong breeze mostly in my face) and stopped my boat in my deed. Told Tulsi to please log in and hop out. Unfortunately he was taking a bath or something. Nearly an hour passed, and I’m getting annoyed by this. I NEED, to get back to the impalong, and I can’t because of him (because he’ll be stuck in the ocean). But one time I get sick of waiting and just go on and do it. Luckily for both of us, that somehow made him respond (and I spun back around and to the deed). He finally logs in.. yet isn’t hopping out.
Five minutes later he does and immediately logs out. Now I can leave.
Back in Exo, I once again stop where I stopped before. But before I went back to the impalong, I took several reference pictures of BB (dock area, height differences, width differences, how they designed this and that, etc). I need to contact this person and see what’s their secret to getting grass (and trees) growing on the side of these mini-canals. Went back to the impalong, especially now finding out B2 talked with this guy who agreed to imp the rest of the lamps for him. This is awesome.
He managed to imp them halfway, and said he needed to sleep. I had B2 thank him so much for his efforts, because that was really, really awesome of him. And even if this impalong is over, at least the lamps are imped up higher than they originally were.
B2 gives me the two completed lamps. He then went up to check on if the stuff I wanted enchanted was done. No change to them, unfortunately. But it’s not that big of a deal (especially with 67 WoA and 71 CoC on my trowel. It’ll make building brick structures, not so troublesome in the near future..never said I was going to make the mortar. :P).

And that’s it. And as for Jakerivers, I don’t know what made him snap between that conversation between him and Tulsi (to make him say “fuck off” of trying to reason with him). I can only assume he sees me as a kid (like Tulsi).
And I don’t know if I should ‘thank’ Tulsi, or yell at him for ruining my chances to make amends …but at the end, does it really matter? No. What matters, is Jake is out of my hair. I don’t have to worry about him judging my every move, and I can finally enjoy the impalong (and not feel embarrassed of being here as DH).
I just hope this is the last I’ll ever have to deal with him (and/or his contacts). I want to enjoy myself, not feel ashamed.
