Good news everyone! The reviews will soon have a new home

After countless complaints over people saying they rather read my reviews than my rants on a particular game I’m playing (plus not being able to find them). Believe me, I hear you folks. And I have finally thought of something!
Instead of creating another SQL entry for another blog post (or having to ask in the WordPress forum if there’s a way to make a webpage automatically plop a link down everytime “game review” is said in the title of a blog post), I’ve decided to convert my old Videos blog (that I haven’t used in a long time and will likely never use) into where I will be forever doing my reviews. Plus if I ever do start making videos again, they’ll be together with my reviews.

All of my reviews will be moved with time, and this blog will continue with my normal gaming news/ranting about blog. It’s a win-win in my book, and hopefully it will be in yours.
I hope to have this fully completed by either tonight or Saturday. Do watch for another once it’s all done.
Nighty night. Nearly 6 in the morning right now.

.
EDIT: So I’ve been running into a snag (and watching Youtube videos for half the day instead of working doesn’t help either). I had to wipe out the blog completely, so no backup.. sorry. For those that aren’t website-savvy, I’ll spare you guys the details.
The issue didn’t come from having to recreate the database and reinstall the blog files, but from customizing the thing. WordPress has a customizer that you can visually see changes as you make them in realtime..at least, in practice. This works on this blog and my General blog…….yet not in this. There’s this button that says ‘Save & Activate’. Normally, pressing it once will save the changes. Except, it’s not. It stops a split second after I click it, and it refuses to save.

Forced to make a support thread in their forum, unfortunately I may have to wait ’till possibly the 15th of when my thread would be reviewed by a moderator, in order for it to show up and actually have a chance to be responded to (hopefully by someone helpful).
I can understand the reasoning. Even I would do something like this. But to be transparent and say “It will be reviewed within 72 hours.” just doesn’t feel fair to you guys.. especially how long of a wait all of you have been of trying to get me to finally do something about this.
I have been meaning to, but I explained that I didn’t feel like making another blog in order to do so. It felt silly to me. And at the time, pretty much not needed (due to the time that I wasn’t really posting non-reviews).

So, I’m sorry. Either this issue somehow fixes itself, or I’m forced to wait through the 15th (and then some) for this thread to be reviewed (and hopefully answered by someone that can help).
I’ll try a few things. But if they don’t work, then I have a temporary workaround (hopefully it’s not permanent). It won’t be fun (for me), but I know it will work (as it won’t require outside help). The only thing that’ll set me back is the hoster themselves (yet by that point, I won’t be able to say anything as the website would be down).
Speaking of the hoster (Arvixe), there’s a (I feel) 65% chance the ‘friendly’ response will be in the form of “contact your hoster” (even though I told them that both blogs work fine). Another thing they’ll probably tell me is to reinstall WordPress (even though I told them it was a clean install and I’ve disabled all plugins..and it’s still happening).

EDIT2: Good (and Bad) news for you folks. I’ll start with the Good: looks like I don’t have to wait ’till the 15th afterall! Checked the forum post (after clearing the cache in Firefox praying this would fix the issue…it didn’t) and the post has been approved. Now all I have to do is wait for someone to respond.
And then there’s the Bad: the thread is already on Page 2 in the ‘Fixing WordPress’ section of the forum. I don’t really have high hopes the thread will be responded to.
Will keep you folks updated as soon as I see one.
