It’s time for my favorite thing in Wurm; depend on others of something I can do myself yet I don’t know how! Deed designing has never been a thing for me, yet it’s also fun to do.
Also, this person that was going to be my contact? They still never logged in, and I started looking again for help though GL-Freedom (because I refuse to wait two days..when I’ve been waiting for nearly a month for help). This actually got more of a positive turn for me. They suggested I make a new thread in the screenshots section, provide loads of screenshots of my deed, and see if that works of getting someone to give me advice and help to give the place some well-needed love.
After I created the thread (here), I got PM’d by a person named ‘Saintdouglas’ who greatly helped me (using DeedPlanner) nearly all day yesterday (remotely from the Release server). They were able to give me several ideas, yet a 3rd of them I had to discard because of “I don’t think I really need this.”
I was never known for accepting the advice from people, as it’s usually advice I already know or don’t wish to(that advice is either RL or gear-related from WoW or another MMORPG). But this is “What about this? Does this look good for your deed?” advice. Two of these involved complete redesigns (featuring Castle-like buildings) but would had involved me making a dragon-sized load of mortar and bricks (to make stone buildings instead of wood).
Having a castle, as a dragon? Pretty badass. “Castle Dragonhead” it would be called, rings bells. Yet, there was no real functionality to the build. It felt way too big for my needs, and I absolutely had no idea why I would ever need something like this.
I think practical. If there’s no need (or purpose) for something to exist, then why do it?
There was even this one church-like wooden structure that was seven levels high (which would match or even pass the limit of my Carp skill). If I ever wanted to go through of making another alt, and go through the hell it takes to be a Priest, then maybe I would consider it. It is a good build, though.
There was also this Workshop that was a 4×3. Pretty good size, plus it even had storage space uptop. Yet from what he put in it.. I don’t really see a need for a Workshop (when my house suffices to my basic needs). Though the storage, I did like. I would change the BSB’s to Coffins, though (or crates).
Again, all of these builds, they were fantastic and really do make the deed stand out from what it is currently. *sigh* But when there’s no real need for the structure, then…why even build it?
Oh, but there was one build I actually did like and feel it’s worth existing. And that was how they had the cart garage moved to near the main gate, and was made open air(allowing better access). I honestly didn’t even know I could have an open air house (using wooden arches). Though a day ago, I needed to go to the North side of Dragonfang Mountain to pickup a High Bookcase (from one of the Chat Assistance people).
Stopped by this pretty nice deed (that I thought was theirs), and saw this open air 3-level house that was also pretty nice. Anyway, I’m going to go with this area (especially where the person placed it). But instead of a traditional roof, I’m going with a flat one (using a wooden floor). It just looks better in my head.
Hell, Might double it and go with a second floor storage area. Cart and Item storage? Win win.
There is also another idea I liked.. well, I’ve actually come up with an idea using theirs that I will discuss momentarily. The person said that I don’t really need the farm to be on the deed (as it takes a lot of space that can be used for other things..like expanding my horse barns(or any other livestock I might come across on my travels)).
Now my idea came from them having a gate on the side ramp of where I’ve been trying to level down (aka to get dirt). I could flatraise this (and lower it) to actually make it an expanded section of my deed (to be my new farm)! Going by the size, it would be 7×8, which is a great size for crops.
Lastly, the boat docks. They seriously needed some love (and the most ghosts removed from it). Though, the person assumed instead of improving my private boat dock for myself and my alt’s boats, that I wanted a large bay-like area (for “friends” to visit). Yeah. Friends. Totally have RL friends (that also play this game)! Sure. Except, there hasn’t been another living soul in my Local since… *sighs* yeah. “Friends” are permabanned from my deed (especially if there’s another unique near me). 😛
There’s also something the person had forgotten (and hell… I TOO wish I could just make it all disappear); all the lovely Clay. I told the person of the ugly clay pier that laughed at me for 5+ years (that I finally got to send back into the ocean). There’s still clay in the ‘bay’.
Yet, there’s also that annoying, ugly clay hill infront of my deed that I would love to be able to remove… holy hell, could I do so, so much more with this place if I could remove that eyesore! I could have a PROPER boat dock with a PROPER entrance(aka a wooden bridge), which would link to both of my ramps to make it quicker to get up on my deed!
Damn, that would be SWEET! 😀 If only if I had access to a shit-ton of Transmutation Liquids, the clay mound would be a distant memory. “Wait, you needed clay for your future guard tower? So sorry, but the shop is CLOSED!!” 😀 😀
Anyway, I bidded the person adou as they couldn’t really help me anymore (having gone over all of their ideas). But more people are coming to that thread to give me theirs. I love it. 🙂

On an unrelated, ironic note, I’m having clothes made from..Champagnedragon. Yeah, her again. I also asked for a second set for B2 (so he’ll look better). CD was the only one that responded from my Trade request.
With my mind permanently stuck in the gutter, when I saw her PMing me, I’m thinking “…Oh..shit. Is she trying to apologize for calling me a ‘stranger’ and we’re going to meet in a quiet place?! :D” ..But it was just her offer to make the cloth sets for me, for 60c. “DAMNIT!! D:(”
There I felt the airhorns going off in my head, the MLG Pro things and the Dorito chips flying around, and seeing “GET REKT”. …Oh wow. 😛
Anyway, I can’t wait to rub my face all over these warm clothes made by a fellow dragon.

The reason I need the clothes, is I want to get started on that multi-server exploration trip that I had planned out for two years (but mainly in order to get inspiration for my deed(and even see if there’s greener pasture around with my name on it (a medium-sized area of flat land near an ocean)) that could be used to move my deed over to).
Yes, with that hill, and the fact how… annoying it is to do anything from my position on the server, I’m thinking about moving. You heard it here, folks.
How I have to go out of my way to get Tar. How I have to go through the Darkenstone Canal to get to the center of the server, since there’s no canal that’ll go there that’s close to me (and I’m not talking the El Rancho Knarr Canal). Yeah, I’m still thinking of that canal I wanted that’ll go through Reborn and the Western Wall at an angle (that I’ll never have as I can’t get the support to do it).
But yeah, everything’s so inconvenient that it’s ridiculous. So.. that’s one reason I wanted to do this.
Anyway, since I can’t bring my horse cross-server (sadly), and I don’t want to be forced to have to ask the locals for a horse (or where I could find some wild horses, plus I also want to travel light), I’m going to be exploring these servers on foot.
Yet I also want to go in style, instead of looking like a typical n00b struggling to run away from hellhounds and trolls in need of a place to live. Aka, why I need the clothes. I want people to look at me that I know what I’m doing, I’m no stupid newbie who needs to live with someone else, and I’m just exploring on my own. Aka, I want to be (and look) self-sufficient.
CD said I should have the clothes by today. Getting ready to login and check after I submit this one to youall (and then edit it 20+ times to fix typos and stuff).
