With so much that has happened today, I’m surprised I’m still able to make a blog post without breaking down crying. But… I did. First off, I’ll be making two posts about what happened. First this, and then a day that will be forever burned into my head in Wurm (which will be much longer).
So now, some happy news for once: MRT’s new “Epsilon” server opened today. Though it didn’t come without problems. It took three restarts to get the TPS(Ticks Per Second) to be at a level where it wouldn’t be really low.
The land claims came fast and many, but thankfully they were regulated to one island per member.
Yesterday, Mike tried to use me to land claim. But due to what was going to happen in Wurm today, I just didn’t feel like it (but allowed them to claim land using my name, and then ‘give’ the land to them later on).
.
And that was about it for today. Now there’s something that happened yesterday evening on Wurm. I’m making all the things I need for the dragon’s grave site (having mapped out the location in DeedPlanner), and all the sudden someone (named ‘Mylord’) suddenly logs into my Local unsuspectingly. I go to confront this possible intruder who could be trying to tell everyone where the dragon is being kept. Find him standing on my main ramp. He said he got “stuck in a house”, yet wouldn’t tell me whos, and also mentions needing a GM to get him out of there.
At first I thought he could be one of the people we invited (since I saw that boat), so I asked, and he said how he couldn’t fight. Now I’m starting to get a bit angered (again, thinking he’s trying to inform his friends to claim the loot for themselves and leave us with nothing) and ask him “..why are you here, then?”
He says he’s just a lonely adventurer and doesn’t wish to fight, then turns toward the rowboat parked next to Cybaru’s sailboat, gets in and leaves.
I repeatedly try to ask him who’s house was he was stuck in as he’s leaving, but he ignores me all the way past him leaving my Local. Try to inform my allies of this possible intruder, but since it’s empty at this time of night, there’s no one there that will respond.
Later that night, I’m in need of Lavender Sprouts(to set the walls around the gravesite) and Mortar(to make the floor needed to mark the gravesite). Managed to get a few, but for the Mortar..I get ‘Mylord’ PMing and asking me what QL I need of the mortar. Since it’s just a single ‘Stone slab floor’, QL doesn’t really matter.
He shows up again, in the boat. And once again I confront him of who’s house he was stuck in. And he shows me: He fell down the Eastern cliff of my deed and got stuck on the walls (which is why a GM needed to get him out).
Relieved he wasn’t some spy, we talked business. He gave me the Mortar, and I gave him 50c for his trouble (felt any less would be insulting).
And then even later.. I find out I couldn’t even place the floor as I would have to have a structure there (and it would have to stay there). Tried to do it in DeedPlanner, and it removed the Lavender Plantations around the gravesite. So I was forced to use a road-based decoration to mark it. Thankfully I found ‘Rough Cobblestone’ to be a good option, and chose that.

So that ends Part 1. If you like drama, you’re going to love Part 2.
