The ‘vacation’ to Orsinium

Once a Level 26 DK, now a Level 31. Also completed his Level 30 SP Questline. This time I picked Tharn instead of Lyris to accompany me to save Sai Sahan. Died once to Lyris’ Doppleganger (thankfully that was the only time I died).

After completing the quest, I decided to visit Davon’s Watch again. As I approached the main center of the city, I was approached by a messenger that popped out of nowhere, saying “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for you”. And it was an invite to Orsinium.
I was actually planning to start getting the quests for the Fighters and Mages Guilds for him, but somehow I wound up near the recruiter I saw before I got ESO+. This time, having the invitation, I got told I need to follow a caravan.
I’ll spare the spoilers of what happened to said caravan. But I need to add that all the mobs here are… V16. Somehow I’m able to kill them, but only 1/4 the speed I normally can. I feel very weak against these guys (weapon wise, not gear wise). Was told by my Guild that they scaled the player to be V16 (including gear).

But when I was trying to solo this soloable dungeon (all by myself mind you), I died a lot due to how ridiculously weak my blows were (gave the enemy more time to kill me). Where it would take about 5-10 seconds to kill someone, takes 15-30 here. Plus, they seem to keep ripping through my shield. I’m trying to focus on the shield and I cannot focus on the red at the same time (plus having to focus on Stamina and Magicka levels).
Half of me wants to quit and go back to the normal zones. The other half wants me to keep going. And I’ve actually listened to my ‘keep going’ side everytime I have that urge to give up. Though I also wish I had a helper mod (like the ones I had in WoW) that would do all the tactical combat thinking for me. But no one wants to make one. Obviously (to them), there’s no need as the game is so easy to figure out your class and class abilities (again.. to them).

What really sucks about this game, it can’t treat gear like WoW treats gear; making dropped gear a viable option for people that don’t craft their own gear. Even Guild Wars 2 and

I also can’t keep depending on crafting guilds to keep my gear upgraded. Though it makes me wonder if I should take my main and get him into crafting gear for my DK (until he gets up to Veteran status). That is a good viable idea. Just I never had really high Production professions in any MMO.
This could be my first time, and it’ll stop having to depend on them (or even need to be a part of a crafting guild).
I wish normal (dropped) gear was more important to use. But I always get the wrong things I need. And by the time I find a set, I’m already 3-4 levels above it and have to replace again. Plus, it’s really ridiculous the way the accessory system works.
