No more videos (for at least a week)

OK, guys. Some serious time. I will not be doing videos for a week. What’s “serious” about it… well, if you checked my latest General blog entry where I’m talking about issues with sleeping… that’s the problem.
See, I enjoy making videos. I really do. But it’s come to a point where it seems it’s screwing up my sleep patterns, keeping me awake all night. The issue isn’t the video itself (or having to upload and do all of that editing). The issue, is trying to make the mic volume at a certain level, where I can be heard just above the audio of the game.

The biggest stress-causer was doing that Jurassic World Demo video. 20+ times, JUST to get my voice loud enough. Yet either it’s too loud, or too quiet. I want to have the mic volume at a universal level (aka, works with all types of audio). But things like battles… my voice gets too quiet (even though it was perfect in the last several parts of the same thing).

So, as I said, I’m not going to be doing videos for a week. I pray, that this is the actual thing that’s keeping me awake. I feel it’s possible, even though I’ve been doing the video thing for a month now (though a week is when I started getting stressed over the mic volume).
So this means, there will be no ‘Benie Fails At’ videos this Saturday(which I feel is the main source of my stress). I’m sorry, but my health comes first. I hope you all understand.
If this doesn’t work… well…. let’s just say I’m going to be using my phone instead of my computer to do these blog posts. I can’t really say anymore about that.

This does NOT mean the end of reviews(and the purpose of this website)! It’s just a small hiatus with the video part, but I’ll still be using my fingers instead of my voice for these reviews.
If I manage to get my sleep back to the way I need it to be, I’m going to be doing a poll. It’s likely I’m not going to be doing any more video reviews with my voice (unless I figure something out by then). I’m too frustrated with that mic.

I do have an idea that I’ll use (if I get my sleep back), which is to record my voice using my computer instead of my PS4, then upload the sound clips to my PS4 and “pasting” them into the video. Basically, I’ll still be playing the game, but my voice won’t be a part of it ’till later on.
I’m hoping with this new option, that I can use Audicity to raise or lower the volume of my voice, based on what’s going on in the video. That way, there should be no more stress. I really want to try this idea out now, but… my sleep is more important.

There’s a chance the idea may not even work, as I don’t know if you can add something from your computer to your PS4. I’ll let you guys know.
