First off, I’m now enjoying a nice break from the server. Got my final project done. Another project I handed over to another Member who I will try to trust to do it right.

Now then, this latest news about Garrisons for WoD. We still don’t really know anything since they were announced back in BlizzCon, last year (very annoying). But there is this page done back in February 11th, discussing about the Art that will go into Garrisons.
Do remember, this isn’t the core mechanics everyone hungers to know.
But if you read closely, they seem to list some ‘spoilers’ in their news. For example, it mentions “being able to increase your Garrison’s power over time”, “for players to get to have some of the original buildings from back in Elwynn and Redridge in their Garrison”.
And lastly, about professions with Garrisons, they add “As the player progresses, each profession hub will level up, and the associated building will become more visually impressive.”
Let’s talk about the first thing they said, which was “increase your Garrison’s power over time”. This could mean the ‘currency’ seen in the BlizzCon pictures, is a sub-currency. The way they word it, and again this could be speculation, you acquire this currency of how well you run your Garrison.
And the only way you seem to be able to run it, is your own personal player progression, and/or progression from your followers. The funny thing is, this is also linked to the 3rd ‘spoiler’ they said, which was about professions.
And the second, having Redridge-like buildings in my Garrison, this just makes my mouth water. I loved the red roofs of Redridge, and I feel, if we’re able to name Garrisons, would be awesome for ‘Dragon Fortress’.
I can’t fucking wait for Garrisons! 😀
