Interesting reading that may answer for the BS of WoD

“No more WoD posts!” I said. Well, this is actually worth a post, as it might somewhat change my opinion on this expansion as a whole (and even explain why we’re on Draenor).

Though it doesn’t explain why the Garrison is boring, it explains the timeline between the end of MoP and the beginning of WoD. I thought the only way to really explain is if Blizzard made a climatic. But this, I discovered, holds a vault of information.

How did I find it, and what is this thing? It started as a discussion of “Are the Horde really the bad faction, and the Alliance the good?” For many years, I believed the Alliance was on the side of justice and honor, and also symbolizing freedom. While the Horde are blood-thirsty war lovers.
Playing through Warcraft III, that wasn’t the case back then. The Horde are just trying to survive.

Anyway, the discussion went to talking about WoD and the Iron Horde (and why they’re the way they are). It’s because Grommash saw a vision, of the Alliance coming to enslave them. My initial reaction was almost on the lines of: “Bullshit! Where’s the proof?”
I got that proof, and then some. Right here…
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/lore/savage-world/hellscream/page-1#readmode
This explains what happened after Garrosh went back in time, what happened to Kairoz, and meeting his father for the first time. And from what I read so far, it’s not “WAAAHH The Alliance were mean to me and the Horde kicked me out!!” It’s completely different from that, and it’s definitely worth a read. I must commend Garrosh for his intelligence and determination of this story.

Yes, it’s old, but I never read this. I’ve read Page 1 and know what happens to Kairoz, but not of what happened afterwards and why the Iron Horde were formed.

WoD 6.1 PTR patch notes released / Went back home (again)

WoD 6.1 PTR patch notes released
It seems Blizzard is basing the latest build and past builds of the 6.1 PTR a “success” enough to announce them as official patch notes.
As awesome as it seems to literally pay with resources to NOT fucking do those Apexis dailies, I’m also making sure I don’t give into excitement, hype, and curiosity, as they’ve been my downfall of this expansion.
Plus, Rygarius has mentioned that these are subject to change.

The quest to lure you out of your Town Hall to see your newly appointed Garrison Quartermaster that literally screams out “Please give us another chance! We know we failed during the beta, but this is our way of saying we actually do care for the community! Love us again!” is a bit too much.
The only way I will “love” Blizzard again is if I see solid soloable content to prove they’re moving the expansion away from the Garrison and into Draenor, as their new endgame content.

.
Went back home (again)
*sigh* I said last time would be “my final ‘whine about WoD’ post”. Well, now this is.
I’ve had it with the Garrison being the only endgame content I’m going to see with this expansion. I’ve longed to go back to the old world, to my old house as I did of previous expansions. And so I did. I pretty much said to my annoying, whiny, uncaring followers.. “You guys are on your own until 6.1 is released!”

Another reason, I’m still having issues with the mount-in-training quests, mainly in Nagrand. It’s the same as it was in the beta; how they made me rage so loudly. Well.. they are again.
Made a thread asking for advice. One was all “LOL going BM is wrong dude!” So I asked “Alright, fine… give me a suggestion of what I need to do. And it also needs to be compatible with doing dungeons.”
One said to go Survival. Other said go Marksman. And the last one said how “BM is the lowest DPS of all the three”… and I’m all “Fuck this” (didn’t say that, just left the thread).
How can it, when in a thread during the beta when someone was talking about Hunters and raiding, I’m all “Well BM is a soloing spec”, and they all jump my ass saying how it’s also for raids. Yet I get this? Ugh. Fuck it. I’ve had enough of this “content”.

I then hearthed back to the Shrine and removed my Garrison Hearthstone from my bars, so it won’t harass me. Now if I can just remove the Garrison icon from my minimap…
Flying back home, I made a pitstop in Chillwind Camp to set my hearth and then went home. Was about to enter when I noticed a yellow dot in the house. Hordie in the house.

Went to Beefhunter to communicate with said Hordie. Found her upstairs. Level 90 Blood Elf. All by herself, sitting in a chair. She never saw me and went AFK when I said Hi to her.
Five minutes later, she jumps out of the chair and stares at me and is like “what”. Ask her what she’s doing, she says “none of your business”.
Um, it is? You’re in my house, bitch! I of course didn’t add the “bitch” part. Then she says “ok” and runs out of the house… um. That was too easy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the last time I saw her.

So I’m playing games with her and stuff, to the point I’m getting slightly annoyed why we can’t have a civilized conversation. Finally she speaks, but in RP form. She says she’s a “noob rollplayer”. I told her about the house and how I found it before she did, then about why I showed up.
She mentioned how she too hates the Garrison, but mentions how the quests are too hard. Gear issues. Was about to suggest she go to the Timeless Isle, but all she said was she’s a noob rollplayer, then left towards the small house South of mine.

.
What am I going to do now? Prepare to solo everything I can, and get my Warlock and Tauren Hunter leveled to 100. But once they hit that number, they go back home with me. None of my alts are going to do this “content”.
I want to see REAL content. Content AWAY from the Garrison!
Expect no more PTR updates or WoD-related posts until Patch 6.1 releases. I feel it could be released late next month or in March. Patches don’t take that long to release, compared to actual expansions.

WoD PTR build 19508 – It works now

20 minutes ago (and what took nearly a fucking day), they fixed the issue with locked characters and copy failed issues.

Here’s what I saw that’s new;
-New quest when you login, titled ‘New Goods’, telling you to seek out Sergent Crowler who’s now your brand new Garrison Quartermaster. Completing the quest gives you a “Hope you find something you like!” message.
-The goblin from last time, there’s now two new NPCs which caused the Guild Emissary to be moved. There’s a Gnome that requests 10 True Dark Iron and Blackrock Ore.
-Bodrick Grey has a brand new Garrison Campaign quest, to go to Frostfire Ridge to possibly rescue one of your scouts.
-The thing that had free portals to all the dungeons during the WoD Beta, has somehow returned. And he’s still thanking you for “helping to test the Warlords of Draenor Beta”.

The last one is both funny and causing more anger issues at the same time. Thought we were done with the beta…

MoP -VS- WoD, what happened?

I’ve been curious what the hell I’ve been doing to pass the time while waiting for the various patches in the past, and also my attitude with MoP versus WoD. So I took a look at my blog posts from 2012, and this is what I found that is different from WoD;

-Flying at max level
-Dailies (Tillers/Cloud Serpent)
-Brand new continent. A continent I’ve never been to. And it felt like a breather from dealing with Deathwing.
-My concern wasn’t on the expansion, but on having shit gear at max level. The dailies gave me a reason to gear.
-A new class; the Monk which was really, really fun to play.
-Only real time I bashed Blizzard was the removal of Justice gear, but only to learn later that Valor was the way to go for me.
-I never played the beta.
-I played other games, as they had a purpose (plus there were so many good titles).
-Only five levels, which allowed me to do any dungeon I wanted/needed at max level.
-Skinning/Mining had a purpose; profit.
-I’ve been used to ‘report to’ quests. I didn’t feel like someone I’m not.

Fast forward to 2014-2015… it’s a whole different story;
-No flying… ever.
-No dailies. Everything’s based around the Garrison.
-A rehashed continent from TBC, just 35 years ago.
-No explanation from Blizzard about the bullshit alternate reality thing.
-I was in the beta.
-Valor gear removed, and no real replacement. Apexis gear isn’t a true replacement.
-No new classes or races. Just the same old shit from TBC only 35 years ago.
-No point to gear up as dailies don’t exist.
-An annoying follower system that I’m nearly begging my followers to do their own missions and leave me alone.
-Skinning/Mining have no purpose anymore, thanks to profession buildings in the Garrison.
-No really good video game titles to fall back to while waiting for patches.
-Being a Commander. Never asked for the title.

Overall, there just feels like there was just, so less content to do now(for soloers). Everything’s situated around the Garrison.
I’m also trying to think of what my reaction would had been, if I had never played the beta. But I just don’t know what it would be. I just cannot get over the anger I had with Blizzard ignoring our feedback, and this is the result.

I feel they pushed this whole “Hurr.. Iron Horde is a threat!” too early in the expansion. They are not a threat. Not in my eyes. They aren’t a threat in endgame content. You literally have to make them a threat by doing those god awful boring Apexis dailies, until they finally fucking take notice.
Garrison Invasions should NOT have to depend on doing those damn dailies!

WoD PTR build 19508 now active… still buggy as hell

The latest PTR build is now downloading. Much smaller than before (344 MB). No news from MMO-Champion as of now. Preparing to login…
And my character is “locked”. Wonderful. I tried deleting him and re-copying. ‘Copy failed’ all over again.

They are working on a fix. So we can safely say that it may be up, but it’s still full of bugs.
In the meantime, I’m hearing they have released the new Blood Elf models. Now they can squeal like little piggies about their awesome non-TBC model.
To me, new models aren’t content nor game mechanic fixes; they’re cosmetic updates.

EDIT: 2:33am.. stand by for childish, entitled whining.
How fucking long does it take to get a god damn fix?! UGH!! Damn it! Expecting Blizzard to fix said problem(s) in 10 minutes, it’s my fault for believing that.
But seriously, they claim the reason our characters are ‘locked’ was an override they had that somehow got removed when they got the servers back up.
How long does it take to switch it back on? A DAY?! Fucking hell, Blizz…
Well… you can at least say “At least they said yeah it’s an issue and they’re working on it instead of keeping you in the dark”, and you would be right. I guess I expect more from them.

Anyway, moving on to more face-palming, MMO-Champion’s been updated with build notes. As it stands, Harrison Jones and Garrison exploration missions have been added. Yay. More missions I don’t give a fuck about, and I could say the same for my followers. I feel they’re getting tired being my slaves to get me geared, when they’re supposed to be utilized better.

I agree wholeheartedly. What happened to dealing with the Iron Horde? Isn’t this our main objective of this expansion?
Seriously, can we please… please just get the expansion moving forward? Maybe they are. To be honest, I never played an expansion this long since the release of it. Usually, I’m off playing another game or something.
But WoD.. it’s different than the others. So much hate built up from the WoD Beta. So much hype… so much promising, fucking epic hype that never happened. 🙁

When am I ever going to learn to not give into hype? It just causes heartbreak. It causes… depression. And it definitely causes anger. Anger of the company, thinking they ‘lied’ to us.
Yet sometimes, you can’t help but give in, when it feels as if the expansion is tailored just for you. For years, I’ve wanted player housing. It’s always been discussed, yet most people just found it very unlikely.
Then we get the Garrison, an alternative to it. Hearing what I could do… bah. I’ve been though this already. Got to move on.

So, the other things are just class changes. It seems BM Hunters really got fucked up. Kill Command and Barrage both got nerfed badly.
Obviously, these are PvP fixes. Yet they also affect PvE.

And that’s pretty much it, for now. If these are the only things that are new of this build, remains to be seen.

What Blizzard will need to do to end my depression

Now I’m not saying “Blizzard I’m a special snowflake! You should care about my feelings!” Just hear me out. Also, this is my final “whine about WoD” post.
In bed, I was wondering if it was even worth getting up. Then I had a thought of what would make my WoW life so much better, to the point I actually felt happy for the first time in many months.
And that is to get one of my alts to do my ‘Garrison chores’ for me, via having the Garrison account-bound, while I head back to my original house to finally do the endgame content I choose to do.
This would virtually eliminate all my depression and hate for this expansion, and it’s also what others would like. It would give alts a point to be leveled, which is one of the biggest reasons.

But…, it’s never going to happen. It’s not the way Blizzard is envisioning Patch 6.1 and beyond. They’re literally saying “fuck you” to the playerbase and doing their own shit.
Sure, they have done a few things as a quality of life improvement in the 6.1 PTR, such as rush orders and able to literally pay your way out of having to do Apexis dailies, but that’s only short term fixes.
We need long-term. We need something that will keep us coming back for more. And I’m talking all types of players…. not just raiders.

.
.
On a side-note, the PTR is now down. Another build is coming sometime today(hopefully).
Will do another post once I see rough build notes. Also to note, Celestalon mentioned about ‘interesting class design’ for the next PTR build that will ’cause a lot of discussion’. Hopefully my chars don’t get nerfed all that badly.

ESO to drop subscription requirement in March

A change in the schedule. It seems The Elder Scrolls Online will soon be F2P on March 17th. Most of you know about their broken gameplay. Something about a lot of it got fixed. I dunno. I’ve never payed much attention to its news.

I’ve never played the game (ain’t it obvious), nor did I even consider joining. But seeing this, would offer an alternative once my WoW subscriptions stop.

I’m curious why they’re going this route. Maybe to attract more people? Maybe to say “Hi, this game ain’t shit anymore!” And also the fact they’re going F2P, I’m reading something about ‘special, optional downloadable content available for purchase’.. aka micro-transactions; the bane of gaming.
Perhaps “Get to Level whatever for only $60.00!”.. just like Blizzard with their Level 90 boost. Or something like “Get this legendary gear piece for only $25.99(plus tax)!”

Still, this is something to consider if WoW doesn’t keep my interest. And it happens exactly on the day my account subs expire. Quicidence? Hmm. Probably.
Though I’ll laugh (and then be depressed) if the game crashes with a C++ error.

DONE with WoD dungeons… now what?

I’ve completed ALL dungeons in WoD! Happy for that. Got several upgrades. Also got Khadgar’s ilvl 640 ring. Go me, doing things I said I wasn’t, for the sake of actually doing things!
And also, not one time was I kicked out of the group for shit DPS! 😀 Now THAT is a shocker.

I did the following;
The Everbloom
UBRS v2

Let’s get to it…

The Everbloom
Different than I pictured it. Lots of plants. The tank was a pretty good “teacher”, showing how to avoid trash and stating to “remember this path come Heroic”. I really didn’t want to pass all that trash, but whatever.
Hardest part was the final boss. I have skimmed through the dungeon journal before I even queued and somewhat knew the fight. The tank helped refresh my memory of what to do. Though we still wiped a few times, we got it done. At the end, the tank was all “our Guild is recruiting if you’re interested”, already knowing I was in a fake Guild.
Told him I wasn’t interested. He was OK with it, then stated how he had an alt to gear up, followed by “We can do the same for you too.”
I thought about it for a bit after I left the dungeon and got back to my Garrison, and wondered if I should consider hanging up being a soloer….. NAH! I’ve been fine for YEARS without a true Guild, and gotten my own gear. I don’t need help. I got my followers.

UBRS v2
Dungeon design was similar to UBRS when it was soloable. Only major changes is The Rookery, getting to where you engage the waves of mobs, and the final boss. There’s a new wing for her. And.. ugh. Wiped four (4) times on her, to the point I actually had to go back to my Garrison to repair.
Then I end up forgetting how to get back to the dungeon.. *facepalm* I had thought the “pop back into dungeon” button was on the left, and it’s actually the icon that shows the status of the group. After help, I got in.
We went though so many Healers too, some having never been to UBRS in their lives (even when it was Level 60).
As I was saying, the last boss….. I think could nearly rival soloing Spine of Deathwing. Stage 2, is when it gets really chaotic. You got two dragons breathing fire on the platform. There’s not much room to maneuver, especially when the adds are pulling you with their chains into the fire, and the boss has this axestorm ability that targets a random player.
But, finally got her down, and my last dungeon as well. Again, that was a very tough fight. Constantly on the move. Constantly having to check where the dragons are, adds, and the boss at all times with the GTFO addon alerting me when I’m fucking up.
That addon and DBM have been very awesome for me with their alerts. Telling me to move when an AoE attack is about to hit, and stuff like that.

.
My total ilvl increase, went from 600 to 608. Still not ‘qualified’ to do Heroics yet (even though I wanna wait ’till I’m 630-640 before I do).
So, what is there left to do? I still got my Stables dailies, and follower missions. I’m still getting missions to give me gear if they succeed. Not to mention I now have a second Level 100 follower (and soon a 3rd if the mission is successful tomorrow morning).

I’ve considered going on and starting my soloing runs, having completed all WoD dungeons. Other than that, I dunno. There is Ashran, and talk about how I can just kill NPCs to get the pieces I need for one of the five things, for the AH bot in your Trading Post. Yet, I’ll need to find a group that will… understand I fucking hate PvP so much and just want the pieces as they’re outrageous on the AH.
All I do know, is I feel this expansion has ‘changed’ me. I don’t know what to, exactly. Just, the vibe of the expansion. Before, my rest after the main content was done, was in my house. Now, it’s a Garrison. A Garrison I have to lead my followers against the Iron Horde.

How, exactly? How is the Garrison going to play a role in future content? That’s a question only Blizzard can answer. I did have one theory, of some scenario of your Garrison versus Grommash, and it’s you with all of your followers. Perhaps, your Garrison gets badly damaged and you got to do a raid, maybe, against Grom and the entire might of the Iron Horde, while others go back to repair your Garrison.
Somewhere, you’re going to lose your Garrison. That would be the best way for Blizzard to not have to worry about making Garrison content for the next expansion.
Yet there’s also the Burning Legion. Can’t forget about them, as they’re the ones that made TBC possible. They aren’t going to like not seeing the Orcs being their slaves.

I’m really curious where Blizzard’s going to take this expansion. It’s like nothing seen before.
Anyway, I’m also considering getting a Hunter addon to help me achieve good DPS. I’ve been kind of sloppy in my dungeon runs, using my old soloing technique. Yet that’s not going to work for Heroics, nor even Raiding. Why I need something to help me that isn’t another person. Besides, even Bellular uses something that helps him with DPS.
There’s also my Worgen Warlock, and Tauren Hunter to get to 100. Though their purpose is pretty bleak in my mind, when they both hit Level 100 (yet it’s been like that in the past). Since Garrisons aren’t account-bound, when they hit 100, I’ll probably just leave them alone like I did my Rogue. Except my Rogue has a point; lockbox unlocker. 🙂

PTR somehow working again / Level 100 dungeon runs

So it appears the PTR is working again. Or has it always been working all of this time? No news from Blizzard, so I assume it was never going to be fixed. Well it seems they did, but behind the scenes.
I just tried my latest copy. No failures. Showed up exactly where I logged off on Live! So my Garrison did transfer over. Sweet.

There’s new changes, of course, with the new build. Though some old changes as well(that I forgot to list in the last PTR post);
-(Old)Sergeant Crowler, the guy who used to initiate Garrison Invasions, is once again a vendor. He features loads of very, very useful stuff to spend excess Garrison Resources on. Though some of it I assume is just for “testing purposes only” and will be “fixed”(like, paying to have Apexis Crystal dailies DONE FOR YOU!! :D).
-(New)A new Goblin NPC which starts the Garrison Jukebox quest, to find several parts around Draenor. Not sure if most of these involve going into a dungeon or a raid.
-(New)Bronzebeard who’s in your Town Hall has been replaced with a Goblin, with a Group daily to go to Gorgrond and hunt down an elite mob. This one seems to be talking about your outpost in Gorgrond. First time since leveling to 100, have I seen a group quest.

.
So, dungeon time. I did the following yesterday;
Iron Docks
Auchindoun
Skyreach(full run this time)
Grimrail Depot
Shadowmoon Burial Grounds(last dungeon I did)

Let’s talk about how each of them went…

Iron Docks
Waited a good hour and a half for a group. Then when I finally got a few people, and the fact I wasn’t even near the portal (didn’t have the FP), they left me. Though another group showed up that helped.
We did the run three (3) times! And wow, was it fast. Didn’t even need a healer. Getting to the 2nd boss was pretty chaotic, though. Had bombs attacking all of us. Constantly had to get behind cover to avoid them. Overall, was fun.

Auchindoun
I actually had similar to the same group with me for the Iron Docks. Figured out how to re-queue. Someone has to leave the party, and all I do is just re-create the request to group. That’s it. Pretty easy.
Had this one guy who seemed more interested in questing than helping, so, had to kick him out. But we did it, again, with no healer. Went by pretty quickly to the point it was almost soloable.

Skyreach
First PuG run in WoD using the Dungeon Finder. It was nighttime, so I could barely see the targets. Plus everyone was below Level 100, so, that was.. fun. I need to do another run today to get that ring for Khadgar(part of the Legendary Ring questline).
Everything went OK, though, until we had to deal with those birds before the 3rd boss(who I thought was the final). The tank said “Group on me”. No one knew what the hell he was talking about, even when we all died. When we came back, he made it clear to stay near him to kill the birds. So we did, and that time we pulled it off.
Knocked the 3rd boss down no problem. I thought it was over until the group ran up this pathway with air going down it. More content! Nice! This one, we had to fight the current of air, going all the way around a platform and up more stairs. I failed one time and got pushed back, but did it again and got it.
The final boss was a real bitch (pun intended, as it’s a female). She was using that laser beam to kill us! Around 15% health left of the boss, I got picked up by one of the enemies that I read later can knock you off the platform and you got to kill it quickly. Got it done.
I did get a few things from it, but no worthy upgrades.

Grimrail Depot
A really, really bad run (except I never wiped). It was only “bad” because I’ve never been there. Hardest part was possibly inside the train. I really hate close quarters combat. You can’t really move, and you don’t know what’s going on infront of you.
That was definitely the case in one car, where we had enemies right infront of us, with one using a cannon that was blinding my screen. I’m sitting there panicking, hoping I’m actually hitting the right targets (least thing I want is the group to be pissed off at me).
Though eventually I was able to see what targets I needed to take down and got them.
The last boss was pretty tough. I really wish Blizzard would ease off on the overuse of AoE attacks.
But, got it done. I actually got to set off the bombs before we jumped off the train. That was pretty cool.

Shadowmoon Burial Grounds
This group, the tank was a bit of a douche.. not waiting for the Healer to get Mana. But the real fun came from … myself. Basically, I grabbed the two quests from my Inn to start that achievement to get the Tier 3 Inn.
We reached where I had to pick up the quest item. However my group went on to do battle with the boss. And before I could get over, the door infront of me closed up, keeping me from engaging.
Yet I had AoE attacks coming over to say hi to me with their damage, that eventually killed me. I apologized, saying I needed to get that piece first. Next time I’ll speak up before I actually get the quest item.
The most fun boss was probably Bonemaul, with his suction attack that you have to run away from. But according to the Dungeon Journal, the AoE can actually keep you from being sucked in.
And then there’s Ner’zhul. He’s a real pain. There’s this one AoE attack you have mere seconds to dodge, and my reaction time is 1.5 seconds.. that’s how long until it hits. So, it hits the second I realize I’m standing in bad! That’s not fair.
But we got it done.
After the run, I was looking around trying to find the second quest item as I thought we passed right by it, yet never saw it on my map. One of the guys in the group helped me. I assume you had to be in Heroic, and I was right when I checked Wowhead. That really sucks. I doubt I’ll be able to complete the 10 required quests to get the Tier 3 Inn without being in Heroic.

All there is to do now, is another Skyreach run, then The Everbloom and New UBRS (once Level 60 raid now Level 100 dungeon). Not to mention doing this new Garrison Campaign I never did on the beta, and starting the “kill target on mount” Stables dailies.
Yeah. A lot to do today.

My first WoD dungeon run(s)

I watched a video from Bellular this afternoon, and he said something that was both true and upsetting(to me).
Someone asked “Do you feel that WoD is friendly to people that aren’t in a Raid Guild?”.. aka, me(with my fake Guild.. which will play out later in this post). His answer is basically praising Guilds over going solo, how you’ll have the help you’ll need and stuff. “if you want to see all the content the expansion has to offer, get in a Guild. Otherwise your playthough of WoD will be ‘lackluster'”
Again, he’s right. He also said that doing content, you just have to “be willing to actively find a PuG.” In other words, to stop bitching about there’s no content.
Yet he also was all “You should really seek out a Guild” really depressed me. I’ve been guildless since late Vanilla.

But I tried to not let that stop me, as a made my first dungeon run request in the Pre-Made Group feature to do the Bloodmaul Slag Mines. While I was waiting and also feeling that depression of what I watched, I decided to just try to relax and do some fishing while grabbing the fishing daily from my Garrison. This had me go to Talador.
So I fished up the required fish, tried to cut them open and I only got 9/10 eggs. Was about to fish again, then suddenly my LFP(Looking for PuG) thing alerted me of players interested.
It was a group of… three people. No tank. Just a Healer and DPS. At first I was hesitant, but then spoke up and asked “Party for Bloodmaul?” They seemed nice, yet I also noticed I was PvP flagged, even mentioned it. I said this several times, but they didn’t really seem to care.
It took awhile until I finally manned up and headed toward Frostfire Ridge, where Bloodmaul Slag Mines is (yet I kept on “why am I flagged?! ARGH!!” to myself). Having not ever been there since WoD went live(aka the zone was completely undiscovered), I made a lot of mistakes. I also had to hide from a Level 95 flagged Horde that thankfully never noticed me.
After awhile, I finally reached the dungeon entrance.

Yet not everyone was there. The Druid DPS and the Healer were a bit North of me. Told them I was here. One of the DPSers showed up near me, followed by the Healer. Then that same DPSer got bored and attacked a Level 100 mob, who wasn’t too happy and bitch slapped him. He ran into the dungeon.
I killed the mob(though I still had my fishing pole instead of my bow out) and then ran in too.
So we’re waiting for the Druid, who came about three minutes after we ran in, and got right to work. My LFP was still active, occasionally telling me another DPS wants to join. Really need a Tank. Though about.. 10 or so minutes in, I finally got one and invited him… who was in Ashran. So we had to summon him. Got that done after a few failed attempts.

Did Bloodmaul Slag Mines no problem. Though I say the first boss was probably the hardest due to having a lot of AoE attacks. Though from what I’ve learned from soloing, I was able to dodge most of them.
And… it’s completed! Did it in half an hour. They wanted to do another dungeon, though I said I only had a half an hour left before I gotta go, yet they too also had a half an hour. Then I had to figure out how to re-queue.
I told them I wanted to do dungeons by level, and they were saying “that’s fine, let’s just do it” yet I didn’t know how, so I gave control of the PuG to the tank.

And we went to Skyreach! I’m like “…Oh god”, having also never done this one, yet my group was confident as can be that we can do this, so I went with it. We took down the bosses. Had only one wipe(the healer).
The final boss was fun. It has this attack that summons a ‘Solar Flare’, which is a small phoenix. I constantly got it. And if you get hit, you of course take a lot of damage. So I ran around trying to keep the bird from running into me while attacking.

Suddenly, the entire group dies due to lag… except for me! The boss has 20% health left, and I’m soloing this fucker! It spawns another Solar Flare. I run around, the group cheering me on.. and I kill it!! I just fucking solo’d the final boss in Skyreach! 😀

The group is cheering me on as I loot what there is. Overall I got no new gear, but there was a trinket I really, really needed. Yet for some reason, it said that my class cannot Need on it. Maybe I don’t need it? I dunno. All I do know, is both stats were green.
So the Tank is all “You did so well, I want to invite you into our Guild!”.. I hesitated, and was about to question if they saw my Guild name, then he says “just kidding”, followed by “I like your Guild name”.

So yeah. That was FUN! 😀 I wanna do this some more. I feel confident now. Though not to do Heroics (need better gear for that anyway).
I’m back in Frostfire Ridge. So now I can uncover the zone without being flagged.
