Space Engineers update – Driling, and better build rotation

Space Engineers now has its first weapon, the Drill! Similar to the bore in Miner Wars 2081, this one is OP. It’s only for Small Ships, which makes sense. Cause you wouldn’t find a drill on a transport ship.
You can bore through asteroids, and even other ships or space stations, making everything destructible in the environment; the way Miner Wars 2081 should had been.
Also, the player can also have a hand drill! It does the same thing as a drill on a small ship.

To top it off, objects can be rotated better now, allowing better precision.

And there you go. The first weapon in the game that allows asteroids to be bored through, and better rotation. Very nice updates, devs. Keep them coming.

EDIT: And they do! They have released a mini-update to tag to this one;
– Beacons can now be named. Yay!
– And several bug fixes, one I encountered a long time ago. They are…
fixed crash when setting controls
fixed crash when using ladder
fixed ladder movement
fixed asteroid rendering issue
fixed start-up crash after removing second display
fixed character on ladder with drill

Thanks, devs! 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you do for the future of this game.

Ghostcrawler to leave Blizzard, effective immediately

So this came to a shock to me as I was browsing the General Discussion section of the WoW Forums today. But it’s official. Greg Street AKA ‘Ghostcrawler’ is leaving Blizzard Entertainment.
His reason? To pursue a “great opportunity for something new and exciting”.
Exactly when will he leave, he hasn’t stated. It could had already started.
Here’s another post directly from him making it 110% official.
For ones that don’t know, Ghostcrawler is the one responsible for balancing classes in WoW with all the nerfing and buffing, and a lot of the annoyances and bullshit (like dailies), have come from him.

Some people are happy. Other people are all “wow.. damn! He’s going to be missed.” Me? I got mixed reactions. I never asked him to be fired or anything like that. Most if not all people that are happy are PvPers and Raiders. Seeing how I’m not either of these, I really have no hate for him (just Blizzard in general when things don’t go my way). I’m pretty much Neutral.

The only thing I did dislike about him, is what he said about flying mounts (which I’ve already stated my feelings about). But I doubt his decision to leave had to do with that. It possibly had to do with the years of abuse from whiny teenagers that feel entitled to be elitists.

Overall, I wish him luck. He deserves a lot of respect for what he’s gone through to keep WoW as balanced as possible. So, good luck to you, Greg. I hope you find what you’re looking for. I’m sure BlizzCon won’t be the same without you, even though I only attended it in 2011.

Bioshock Infinite – Burial at Sea Episode 1 now available!

Finally a non-WoW, non-depressing blog post! So this DLC for Bioshock Infinite came out on November 12th.. two days after BlizzCon ended.
What is it about? You get to revisit Rapture from BioShock 1. Except, from before BioShock’s time; back before it was infested with crazy bastards. People are acting normal, for a change. There’s still Big Daddies and Little Sisters.
So anyway, a lot of people and even the developers say, that you would be playing as Elizabeth. That apparently is not true now, as you’re still going to play as Booker.

And Elizabeth, has changed. She looks more… rugged now. She doesn’t look like the Disney princess from Bioshock Infinite. She looks, like a badass bitch who you don’t want to mess with.

Why are you back in Rapture? What’s the point? Are you trying to kill off Andrew Ryan? The answer, is in the DLC. That’s all they’re going to say. My guess, it’s going to be another one of those mindfuck things the game is famous for.
So the game is currently $14.99 on Steam, and it requires BioShock Infinite to be owned and installed to work. I’m hoping either Black Friday or Cyber Monday will knock down this price, so I’m waiting until then.

I’m also hoping Train Simulator 2014 goes on sale. It’s another game I want. Just anything, to pass the time of waiting for months on end for WoW’s next EP. 😛

Blizzard’s opinion about Flying Mounts – Why wait ’till 6.1?

I know I said “no more blog posts about WoD!”. But this… this is something I can’t seem to get over. It’s the debate of this thread; players VS Blizzard VS players that don’t mind the change, of flying in WoD.
Let me just say, Blizzard’s true side is finally coming out here. No more “Ohh we care about the community! You guys rock! You make what WoW is about!”, and more of “This is our game. You don’t like it? Tough shit.”

So I made a post, stating how that Blizzard is pretty much “taking our toys away and we’re whiny babies”, because we like our toys more than interacting with other people. They said in BlizzCon, that they want people to be more interactive with eachother.
Later I got a reply from someone that quoted Ghostcrawler’s Twitter. He says: “we also hate the way folks quest with flying mounts. Swoop down, unlock prison cage, swoop away.” Some say to be lucky that he hasn’t removed flying mounts altogether.

In my opinion? I.. dare him to remove them. Because when he does… that will be the last straw. They should had known, we would play like this. We use flying mounts for more than just transportation. We use them to get out of sticky situations that would had lead to death if it wasn’t for a flying mount.
I personally use them, for a RP aspect (having a dragon form). It’s the way we play.
But, he won’t remove them, because he knows how much chaos it would cause.

Later on in the thread’s cycle, someone posts from a Blizzard response found on Page 6 that I didn’t pay attention to. The same community manager that announced about flying also explained (in very little detail) what hell you’ll have to go through once 6.1 comes to get flying again. The second paragraph, says “Unlocking it won’t just be level 100 on the day 6.1 comes out with some gold, but something you’ll be working toward over the course of the initial expansion release, and 6.1 will introduce the final steps to complete it. It’s such a enormous power to be able to fly we really want it to be more of a key moment when you unlock it, and something that feels like an accomplishment more than just shelling out some gold like we’ve had in the past.”
So let’s go over this. Something you’ll be working towards, want it to be a key moment, something that feels like an accomplishment. It sounds like they want to do something similar with Netherwing rep. Remember back in TBC where this was this one patch where you couldn’t get rep until the next one? I think it’s going to be this. Except.. to be able to fly. >.>
People that just want to fucking fly aren’t going to give a rats ass about accomplishments. It seems we really are going back in time… to the dark days of TBC and hoofing it all over Outland. How “fun”. Just like Blizzard wants it.

It’s simple, really. It’s Blizzard, being a bunch of douchebags. And I think I know why. They are obviously tired of catering to every single group of people who want this and that their way, and have pretty much said “ENOUGH!!!! For now on, you ungrateful whiny bitches are going to do what we want you to do! We don’t fucking care if you quit!”
You can’t really blame Blizzard for snapping. I mean, they’ve been through a lot over the years.

As for me, I’m still going to get WoD at its release, get to 100. Then I either have the option to do this incredibly stupid thing to be able to fly again or log off and wait for 6.1, just to have to do it. I’ll check it out and see what I got to do. If it looks soloable, then I’ll do it and then go home and wait for 6.1.
Then when I get it, the first thing I’ll be doing is giving Blizzard the finger when I go dragon and fly to Nagrand to set up my Garrison.
And if this thing we have to work for, involves having to do a raid with other players just to fly? … Let’s just say they best not, or it’ll be the last time they see another subscription payment from me.

Space Engineers – One month later

The devs released a video showing off a recap of what’s been added to the game since its launch, just to give a perspective of what’s to come for this amazing game.

It started with learning the controls, showing off creations the community made, advanced building techniques such as parts that can rotate, then goes on to the additions to the game..
Starting with being able to lock small ships onto large ships to make large ships finally have a purpose, Symmetry Mode for builders and an Inventory, Internal Dampeners that can be switched off to finally allow you to walk around a big ship while it’s moving, then finally the Beacon block and copy/paste/delete.

What’s to come for Space Engineers in the future, and has it changed my opinion since the launch? The fact they addressed some of my major gripes, I’m happy and I wish the game well. The fact they lived up to their promise of updating the game, makes me happy.
But not all of my gripes have been addressed. Large Ships still need to be furnished to make them look habitable and still need a first person view (even though i personally don’t know how they’re going to do that). I also would like to see the ability for players to make their own parts such as finished hulls you can paste and snap a ship together.

The game has promise of being really awesome. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Throne of Tides and Battle of Mount Hyjal added to solo’d belt

I did forget to mention that I also had solo’d Black Temple last week, but I was so caught up with trying to learn the “why” of WoD that I never posted.

So, I solo’d the Throne of the Tides of the Battle of Mount Hyjal yesterday. I also got Golden Lotus and The Anglers at Exalted status, and have four individual Tillers to go ’till my farm is ‘maxed out’.
So, ToT. I thought was going to be hard, but it was actually too easy. Well, except for the 3rd boss (the Shaman with the squid on his head that makes him hostile).
Everytime I got the boss down to 45%, the squid will pop off and chase after me, then take control of me. When it does this, the battle resets about 10 or so seconds later (as there’s no one other to get this damn thing off my head).
So I had to Feign Death and wait for my pet to kill the squid. By doing this, kept the squid from taking over my mind. The plan actually worked.

Doing the Battle of Mount Hyjal, I considered that “practice” for when WoD arrives of the waves of mobs attacking. Pretend the Burning Legion are the Iron Horde.
Boss 1 kicked my ass with his Death and Decay, freezing and stunning attacks. Fortunately I was able to outsmart him by simply avoiding them. The rest of the battle went on OK, with every boss deciding to attack me instead of my pet. 😛
The final boss, I had a lot of controversy if he would kick my ass or not because of his Finger of Death and his ability to throw you in the air. The first time I engaged, I tried to get under one of the far branches and have my pet pull him over to me so I could attack. As soon as I started, he disappeared… and never reappeared.
I waited three minutes for him to reset and I thought it was bugged and would have to reset. So I mounted up and was preparing to leave when I noticed everyone else had disappeared.
Then I happen to turn around and saw the boss had reappeared. Thank goodness for that. Didn’t pull him back as far. He again like the other bosses was attacking me instead of my pet. But at least by doing this he wasn’t Finger of Deathing me. And just as I read in Wowhead, he spammed Finger of Death even though my pet was attacking him. Thankfully I had this protective bubble over me that kept me immune to his attack, just enough for him to die by the… hands? of wisps.

Extra Tidbits of BlizzCon 2013

The “WoW Q&A Full Panel”, Nobbel87 already covered. Such as raids, basic Garrison questions, and the like. But there was one that really made me concerned.

Around 20:41 of the Q&A (this video), someone asks Blizzard about them “cutting all the crap” of Hit, Expertise, and Reforging being removed. But is concerned about “not feeling rewarded”. Basically, Blizzard’s trying to remove the whole ‘checklist’ for gearing up (aka Mr.Robot).
At the end, one of the team mentions “What we’re trying to say is that Mr.Robot is not sitting here on this stage, and he should not have to approve your items”, followed with half of the crowd cheering.

This scares me, as I of course rely on Mr.Robot to help gear me up. It scares me that they’re going to screw me over. Then again, maybe it won’t be so bad. I doubt they’ll have the power to make that site not work, as it’s not breaking any rules. It’s just helping casuals like myself to gear up.
Still, it is a concern. Not something I’ll have to worry about now, but in the future.

.
Other than that, a new RTS game called “Heroes of the Storm” featuring Blizzard’s Heroes and Villans (think of Super Mario Bros Braw except in an RTS), and “Hearthstone” which is a trading card game.

Warlords of Draenor(WoD), what we know from Blizzard

Consider this blog post, the end of all blog posts about WoD for awhile. Infact I’ve removed all speculation posts about WoD to clean things up.
I’ve had it for not knowing the why, so I’m all “fuck it. I’ll watch the panels of BlizzCon. I have to know!”
So, I’ve been watching videos from Youtube user ‘Nobbel87’, who has compiled all the data possible from BlizzCon 2013 and has released videos of what happened without you having to be there, and without all the blah blah blah from Blizzard.
But I also watched some videos showing the full panel of Blizzard explaining what WoD was about after the announcement.

1. It’s official that Warlords of Draenor is the next expansion. It is Outland 35 years ago before it was torn asunder. I heard it was only 30 years.

2. What is the purpose of going to Draenor? The official “why” has been released by Blizzard, and here it is…
It will happen between MoP and WoD (after the Siege of Org raid) that Hellscream will be in chains awaiting trial in Pandaria. And before he’s convicted, he escapes into the past. Why? Blizzard says he hates the way the Horde currently is, and goes back in time to stop the orcs from drinking the demon blood to keep them from following the Burning Legion, then prepares them for war by giving them future technology, and then have them invade Azeroth in our time, even more powerful than they first were when the Dark Portal first opened in WarCraft 3. In other words, he wants the Orcs to be the way they should had been, instead of the current Horde races.
So in ways, we’re going back in time.. but at the same time we aren’t going back in time. Garrosh wants to bring this alternate timeline that was 30 years ago, into our Cataclysm-altered time by creating a brand new Dark Portal to take control of the one we currently have.
Of course, you have to stop this! But Garrosh isn’t the end boss in WoD as he was in MoP. He is the “guy behind the guy” as Blizzard says. They also say that Garrosh “had help” to get into the past and hint of the dragon who you were helping with that hourglass.
Apparently that same hourglass will be Garrosh’s undoing.

3. How will we get to Draenor? Here’s the official “how”…
Blizzard said that the Dark Portal will become red and people will feel something’s wrong. There will be a “suicide mission”, similar to the starting questline for the Death Knight (but in my opinion, sounds similar to trying to kill that Elite to gain a foothold in the Molten Front). Garrosh is about to send his Iron Horde into the Dark Portal to invade Azeroth. You, are the only one that can stop him (aren’t you lucky?). Once you do, you will be transported to your faction zone where you must help whoever to secure your home base.
Blizzard says that they will “jump you right into the action”. No questing, just do battle. Interesting.

4. After you complete the suicide mission, the Alliance will be helping Prophet Vellen defend Karabor, the Draenei Holy Temple from the Iron Horde. If you win, Karabor will become your capital city. So possibly no more having to go to Stormwind.
While the Horde side, will have Frostfire Ridge and help Durotan of the Frostwolf Clan battle the Thunderlord Clan.
Overall, the Alliance is the “favored child” in this. 🙂 For the Alliance!!

5. Level Cap has been increased to 100. No new news here.

6. The “Refined Quest System” Blizzard mentioned on their website, they are completely redoing how quests are given. Basically, think of games like Dead Space 3. They will now have a system showing Main Quests, and Side Quests. I really, really want this feature as it will keep things more organized. And the best thing? You don’t have to second guess if there will be freeplay after the main questline. 🙂

7. Flying Mounts allowed in WoD? No. Not until 100, and not until Patch 6.1. Plus you have to do some kind of thing that starts after you hit 100 and finishes off in the patch. It’s too early in development to know what this thing will be.
See this blog post to learn more.

8. Garrisons, and what we currently know about them;
— A Garrison is Blizzard’s answer to Player Housing.
— Other player Garrisons are phased, but you will be able to see yours. Infact it’s built right into the zone as if it was part of the zone.
— You can invite your friends to see your Garrison, even set up a raid so your friends can see it while you’re offline.
— Garrisons can only be built at specific plots all around Draenor. I hope to build mine in Nagrand since I loved that zone in TBC.
— You can move your Garrison to another plot. How easy that’ll be, is questionable.
— The types of buildings you can place, are a Town Hall, Houses, Farms, Stables, and even places for your professions and professions you don’t have.
— Garrisons and the buildings you can place have three tiers. Level 1 being a small plot of land, and Level 3 being a Theramore Isle-sized land.
— Garrisons do have a currency system, and according to some pictures I’ve seen, missions like dungeons have this same currency. Blizzard said it’ll be a mixture of gold and resources.
— It may.. again, may be possible for Garrisons to have more customization in the form of themes. I want to have a dragon-themed Garrison. I’ll gladly pay the gold for it.
— Followers can be renamed. Also, followers have a first and last name and a description.
— To get Followers, there’s three known ways. You’ll get them for free with your Garrison, you can bribe them, or you can do quests for them.
— You can assign followers to quest, do dungeons, and raids. What they bring back, you get. They can even help you gear up! 😀
— Followers have levels and specs just like you do. They start from 90 and get to 100 just like you will.
— Achievements you get in Draenor, you can plant them in your Garrison for your friends to see.
— One of the things you can place is a Dance Studio. Someone asked Blizzard about this as it wasn’t announced, and they tried to cover it up by saying that they don’t pull things on their playerbase.

And now we get to the part of what was not explained, and I wish I was at BlizzCon to ask;
1. Will Garrisons only be available when you reach Level 100? I’m going to assume “yes”. Surprised Blizzard didn’t answer this.
2. What hell will you have to go through to get permission to build a Garrison? I’m sure there will be questing and gold involved.
3. Do your followers have their own aspirations, or are they nothing but your loyal servants (similar to Spore’s Space Stage)?
4. Will the inside of your Garrison be a no-fly zone? I really hope not.
5. Can you name your Garrison, and actually see it pop up when you enter it like a sub zone? Or will it be named “Garrison”?
6. Will it be possible to do a dungeon run with your followers instead of actual people? I’d love to see this.
7. Will you see your followers who you have specified to do quest or whatever, outside your Garrison? And will they use mounts?
8. When moving a Garrison, will it go back to Level 1 and we have to start all over again? Or will it actually be a copy/paste?
9. Can you set your home to your Garrison? I personally don’t see why not. So there is really no point in staying at Sunsong Ranch anymore.
10. Can you get Level 90 alts to see your Garrison, or is it Level 100 only? I’m hearing “you can get 90’s to be in your Garrison”, but not official by Blizzard.
11. Will followers have to be paid for their services to you?
I’ve submitted these questions in Blizzard’s Facebook page in hopes it gets attention by a dev. I tried to post these in the forum and they were ignored.
I’m guessing the reason why these were not answered, is they don’t know yet. It’s too early. But not knowing is driving me up the wall. There’s just so much… “Oh god this is the best thing EVER!! I have to know! Blizzard tell me NOW! D:”

9. The whole thing about gearing up being easier, wasn’t exactly as I’d hoped.. but it isn’t all bad. You’ll still have to farm for gear. What they changed, is you won’t have to get specific sets for gear. Such as for Druids, no more “let me get my Feral gear”. If you respec for Feral, your gear also respecs to support it. However, doesn’t make you anymore powerful.
Overall, I like it as it will allow me to respec to Survival without needing Survival spec gear so I can do raids, and I’m sure veterans definitely hate it as it would make WoW ‘too easy’ for what they went through, and they do have reason to say so.

10. There was talk of someone asking Blizzard to lower gear levels and stats down to encourage old school raiding in the previous expansions.. which will make soloing Level 70 raids impossible. I mean the idea is good, but it’s bad for me and soloers. They say they have thought of it, but haven’t come up with an idea.. with me holding a gun to their heads and saying “Benie wanna solo BT! You fuckers better NOT do anything to ruin that!”

11. The changes they’re making for bags, Quest Items will no longer be added to your inventory! But the whole sorting system worries me, as it could break Bagnon and other inventory addons.
One welcomed change, most stacked items will be increased to 100 instead of 20, similar to how crops from your farm are stacked. This gives you even more bag space!

12. We will meet Thrall’s Parents, but only be on the Horde side.

13. A person asks now that Garrosh has been defeated (not killed) and Vol’jin is now the Warchief for the Horde, will Blizzard reflect these changes in WoD? The answer is no. Why? Because what happens between TBC and MoP will not be changed (as they stated what happens in WoD will not change the present). The entire quest structure and NPCs would have to go over a major overhaul to change everything, and that would be stupid just thinking about it.
Blizzard isn’t going to do that, as it would fuck lore up the ass.

14. The new Player Character models. Someone asked if NPC’s would also be changed as it would look weird only seeing player characters with the new models.
Blizzard says that it would be possible, but it would also tax your hardware, and there might be an ‘opt out’ feature where if you don’t want the new character models, you don’t have to. They add on by saying that people that opt in, won’t see the standard models from players that opted out.

.
And there you have it. The official list from Blizzard (of what I care about). This blog post may or may not be updated with any new news I find useful to me.

Meeting old friends from over a year ago

My last post was about the “why”, we are going to Draenor. Things happened in this time period. I met two old friends who also joined this day after not playing in months. Me? It’s been a week since I came back.

Today instead of doing my “I’m bored so I’m doing this to pass the time” dailies.. oh yeah, I am doing dailies again due to being bored with having solo’d TK, The Eye, and BT (all early TBC raids). Mainly to get all main MoP factions exalted and get their flying or ground mounts.
I was looking around Youtube for anything to piece together the “why”. I so badly wanted to know.
I know the EP will take through 2014 to be released, but not knowing the reason the EP was even announced was driving me insane. It makes me want to kick myself for not ‘attending’ BlizzCon 2013. Attending as in paying the $40 to see the live feed (as I don’t have DirecTV anymore).
Why in the fuck couldn’t they put the reason into their announcement video?! They did it with TBC. They did it with WotLK. They did it with Cata. And they did it with MoP… yet not WoD; literally forcing you to attend BlizzCon (or watch videos from people that were there) to learn about the EP. -_-

*sigh*.. anyway, moving on with this blog post. I eventually did get back into WoW in hopes to talk Terlarer into doing a LFR with me in the Siege of Org to get my “why” answer, as it seemed to me the only way I would know. He unfortunately never showed up. So I did my dailies anyway, making the dishes for the Tillers, flying back and forth to help various factions to receive their rep, and then cussing at Blizzard for having to do the same exact fucking dailies I did a day ago for the Golden Lotus.
The only.. only change they did was in the temple where you had to kill non-elite Mogu, that the trap locations were changed, and so was the item I needed to switch off to get the quest item, then fight my way out of there.

After I flew back home after completing individual Tillers rep quests, I watched more videos while waiting for Terlarer. One of the videos showed a Level 90 Alliance Pally soloing through the Throne of the Tides(ToT) with the guy in the background talking about if WoW is dead/dying. I thought “no way! This Pally has to be using hacks! There’s no way you could solo a Level 81-83 dungeon as a 90!.. Can you? Hmm.. I wonder” and began to question if I should try to do it.

During this, I heard the ‘ting’ sound of someone logging in that’s on my Friends List. I checked, and it was Cooleow! I thought he would still be pissed at me for the way I treated him over a year ago so I hesitated to talk. But actually it was the complete opposite when he saw me online and spoke first.
So we talked for awhile to catch up on current events. I thanked him for giving me the link to Mr.Robot, asked him how he’s been. After a delay, asked me. Told him that I’ve defeated Deathwing and went to Minecraft to wait for MoP’s release. He congratulated me and told me he knew I could do it.

A little later, he asks me if I had Skype. I said yes and he adds me, then asks if I have a Mic. I told him yes. Then I told him how I’ve been trying to figure out the “why” of WoD.
Later on, I joined a group chat with them and heard his over-enthusiastic voice for the first time. I also met his little brother, who is really funny due to his immaturity, and his hamster avatar almost seemed to match with the voice.. curse my RPing.
So we talked in Skype. He asked me about the Minecraft server that I mentioned (aka the MRT Server) and I gave him the URL and told him I used to be a Moderator but resigned. He seems interested in joining the server. I wonder what Chief and Frumple will think when they see friends of my past showing up on the server.

He told me that he’s been playing ARMA2 and asked me to get it to play on his clan. I told him I would think about it, but I doubt I’ll do that. I care less for games like that.
Trying to get back to the topic of WoW, I asked him what he thought about the EP. He pretty much sees it like I do, of Blizzard desperately trying to think of an idea to keep the game alive, yet he adds that MoP is also like that to him.
I personally like MoP after the stress I went through with Deathwing doing what he did to my beloved zones (namely Thousand Needles), and I love the lore. But that lore isn’t WarCraft’s lore, which is what Blizzard is trying to get back to.
I told him I’m excited for Garrisons and to have followers that will quest for you instead of the other way around, and how it’ll be quite different from all you went through to get from 1 to 90.
Even though one free char will be able to be boosted right to Level 90 in the EP.

Anyway, he and his brother had to go do something. That’s when later on I met Terlarer in GS. He then hearthed away saying he was going to do BT really fast but didn’t show up since.
I then saw someone familiar. A friend who I was doing Level 70 raids with when I was Level 85. Still a Level 70 twink, and still with Illidan’s Warglaves. Told her how I solo’d BT and what I went through with the triple head boss. We talked awhile, said she had Level 90’s and this was the first time on this char in a long time.
I asked her about that video I saw of the Level 90 Pally soloing ToT and said I’m nearly tempted to do it.
She told me that I should be able to do it, that it’s not that hard. Interesting, I thought. This’ll give me something to do tomorrow. Then she went to go on one of her Level 90 chars and left.
Even Wowhead says it’s possible for a Level 90 to “easily solo-able on normal difficulty”, and adds on by saying “even with terrible gear”. Now I know I want to do it. I’ll do it after I complete my dailies. Closing in to getting Exalted with The Anglers. Soon I’ll have the Azure Water Strider. A quite useful ground mount.

While we were talking about the old raids we did, one came to mind that I completely forgot about which I think should now be soloable by me — The Battle of Mount Hyjal. It’s the one where you help the Night Elves defeat the Burning Legion around the great tree and stop Archimonde from sucking the powers of the World Tree. It’s a Level 70 raid, and it’s the first raid added in the Caverns of Time (with Dragon Soul being the second).
Since the thing already happened, I call it a “simulation”. Except they can really hurt you. The good thing about this type of simulation, that when you die you don’t stay permadead.
If I’m going to do the raid, I need to do it and complete it before Tuesday which is when all raid dungeon locks expire.

.
I just hope when I fly to Kalimdor via Theramore Isle, down to Tanaris, then through the winding tunnel to the main cavern, that what was seen in a short clip of Norzdormu losing his consort… doesn’t actually happen there and she’s gone or her lifeless body is there. Because if I do… that would be sad.
I want to see her still alive. But I’m pretty sure that will change in WoD. Why was his consort killed? There has to be a conspiracy.

Promised changes coming to Cube World

I haven’t talked much about Cube World, as the devs have ‘disappeared’ for months and people wonder if they still care for their game.
This month, the main dev has proved he’s still alive and cares, and has released info on more updates coming for Cube World. One being something that’s keeping me from enjoying it; a scalable GUI for 4:3 ratio monitors. Now I won’t have to boost my monitor to the highest resolution anymore, just to see what’s going on.

When these updates will be published, is currently unknown. He’s also working on getting a new official forum for Cube World, since the old one went down and hasn’t been back.
