Back in ESO..and not knowing how to play :P

Wow has it freakin’ been a LONG time! It’s been so long that I don’t even remember what addons I was using at the time. I don’t know how to get on my horse. I don’t know how to fight. I’m too scared to really say anything (because I don’t want to be seen as a new player).
I think I remember having specific keybinds, having specific skills, having specific abilities…and that’s all I know. What I chose has completely been erased from my mind. Instead of feeling excited to come back, it feels scary. All of these addons I collected, I don’t know how I had them, or what their configs were set to.

I don’t even know where the hell I am. .. Oh wait, I’m in Stormheim in Ravenspire. Oy. I need to find a Guild..somehow. Maybe they can somehow get me up to speed (at least how to setup my char). Also I wound up outside of a small castle. I’m seeing people that are.. Level 560?! How in the fuck?
I don’t know how to drag addons around. All of this is alien to me. Someone please help me before I lose my mind.

.
After much scratching of my head, I finally figured out how to move addon windows around (the Numpad Enter key. Also the Numpad keys control the five abilities on your hotbar). I also figured out how to move the world map around (holding the Left mouse button), and how to utilize my horse for faster travel. I also went all the way to Davon’s Watch of not knowing where I need to go to do this ‘A Friend in Need’ quest to what I was told is unlocking the ability of getting player housing.
Also, I found a Guild in hopes to help me re-learn how the game works. Unfortunately, it’s a Trading guild instead of a ‘help returning player out’ guild. Though, this guild might help me with getting higher gear (I’m Champ Level 150 on my Sorcerer).
They seem like a nice group. One of them even helped me do what I could had easily solo’d myself (if I remembered how I specced my char). The person also kind of helped me set my Champion points. The reason why I say ‘kind of’ is, this person didn’t know my class and spec that well (none of them did at that time.. I’m hoping this changes when I log in tomorrow). As a backup plan, I asked here on the forum if they could help me. I feel they were able to before.
I just gotta make sure I actually listen to their advice and do what they say, and not feel like “wow, that’s a lot to remember”. Though I fear they’re going to go down the road of “you’ll have to experiment on how you want your class to feel”.
Experimentation takes time, and I just wanna play the freakin’ game here!

I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. I don’t really have high hopes (mainly for the fact I don’t see anything I need to ‘shoot’ for). However, yesterday I was able to complete that quest..and got what feels like a storm shelter inside of an inn as a ‘house’. I also learned about player housing, it’s kind of like the way it is in Wildstar. You can either purchase, or build furniture for yourself. The Guildie I was with said you can also find it as drops from killing enemies. Though at first, she said they come from ‘battles’. I’m thinking “are you fucking serious.. PvP?!” Thankfully that’s not the case. She claims that she got a few wall pictures from helping in a Dolman (even though the main questline is complete, they still exist.. which kind of kills the immersion).
Don’t know how you make furniture. I tried it myself, and it claims I didn’t have anything to start with. I assume you just gather wood or something to make the basic furniture. When in a house, you can place furniture anywhere you want in the house by hitting F5. You can also teleport to your house for free, anywhere you are. Pretty cool.

Also, that whole “Level 560” thing, I didn’t realize this at first, but that was their Champion level (like myself) that you start acquiring after completing the main storyline.
And finally, I discovered what the Morrowind ‘expansion’ covers, and it’s just that large island that Red Mountain sits on. It isn’t all of the area. $40 for that? Pfft. This thing truly is a joke (and should had come with ESO+ for free). But I’m done beating that dead horse. No amount of bitching is going to reverse their decision (and I’ll probably never know the real reason they went with this dick move against their subscribers).
I’m just glad I can still play this game without a subscription (or being forced to get this thing). At least they’re kind with that.
