This is a game that I am SOOOOOOOO not going to play! EVER!! I would like to SLEEP at night, thank you! But I feel it should be talked about.
What is the game? If you ever had childhood horror memories of could had sworn you saw one of the robots from Chuckie Cheeses staring right at you with a creepy grin… this game will scare you.
It starts off of you playing as a guy named Mike, who’s strapped for cash and needs to find a Summertime job badly. He happens to find possibly the easiest job ever; being a security guard working the graveyard shift of some stupid kid-friendly pizza palace called Freddy Fazbear Pizza. Seriously, what could happen?! It’s the perfect job! … Or so you think.
What’s worse? … This place exists IRL, in Utah. Could this… be a game based on that place?! Heaven forbid if that’s true.
The first night of your job at 12am, you’re thinking “this is going to be so easy! Just watch the security cameras until 6 in the morning!”, and this is what a mysterious guy who claims to be the former security guard and you’re his replacement, tells you of leaving his message on the answering machine.
Yet he also warns you that these peaceful robotic things have been known to… walk around on their own at night. And if they catch you, they will stuff you in a Freddy bag. Which may not seem scary, except he tells you this bag has wires, servos, and electronics in it that… will probably kill you.
But you think to yourself.. nah. That can’t be true! You flick your security cameras. All the robot animals are in place. All of them; Freddy(the bear), Chickie(the duck), Bonnie(the rabbit), and Foxy(the fox). Time slowly moves. 1am. 2am. All seems quiet. Suddenly.. OH SHIT FREDDY MOVED!!! You frantically check all the cameras…you hear strange laughing through the quiet, blackened halls. Where the fuck are you Freddy?! You check the light to the left… HOLY FUCKING SHIT HE’S RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR!!!!!!! *and before you have a chance to activate the door and seal him, the robot in Freddy screams in your face, and you die.. and possibly in real life due to a heart attack from a massive jump scare*
So, what’s worse? You have a limited amount of power, and it drains quickly if you close the security doors and look at the security cameras. You have to balance being able to watch them, and defending yourself. Because, it’s game over when the lights shut off.
Though you may have a saving grace if it becomes 6am before the robots get you. Or… you’ll be the next victim!
