So, I’m at GS, sitting on the roof of the Inn in my dragon form, watching the duelers below, when one of them yells out “exp patch in 5 days!!!” At first I thought “Wait, what? Does he mean XP will be increased?!”, but it was about MoP.
The Pre-MoP patch, actually. So I check Google, and was sickened of what I saw. Apparently, that’s the day that the new talent point system replaces the current one. And we will be forced to think of a new rotation.
I’m worried this may affect the way I solo dungeons (or even level in MoP). I really hope it doesn’t. But if it does, there’s nothing I can do about it. Will this change the Dual Talent Spec mechanic? No idea.
This is all I know currently of this supposed patch. A friend of mine said that this was the way it was a month before Cata’s release, so it’s no surprise to him that Blizzard’s doing this.
.
.
Also, I saw a video that explained something I was a bit shocked about. On the last patch of Cata, Org is going to be under attack by the Alliance to forcefully end Hellscream’s control over the Horde. This also leads to more… troubling news of hearing that possibly.. Stormwind will be under attack? In other words, PvP will be alive and kicking.
Thankfully, being so far away from SW, I won’t have to participate. And I hope that it’s instanced. If it’s not, I still got Ironforge as a backup city.
The video also explains that Blizzard will be doing something it never did before. When MoP is released, it will include a full story instead of doing a bunch of patches to complete it. Then when that part is over, a new patch will be released that will start the PvP Wars.
And then it mentions on the final patch, how “Hellscream goes insane”. Him being a Fel Orc, I’m not surprised.
But yeah. Something to post about.
