VRChat’s IK 2.0 update: No longer need IKTweaks?

Another VRChat update, and another mod break.. and holy FUCK the amount of mods that broke with this one!! But one mod in particular is going to take a lot longer than a day or two to fix.. possibly a complete rewrite of the code to play along with the new system.

But as we all (patiently) wait for our favorite mods to update, now we have ‘IK 2.0’.

From what it presents, it seems to be an attempt of making IKTweaks part of the main game. Offering pretty much complete head to toe FBT (11-point tracking instead of the standard 6-point). It even offers better 3-point (standard VR) and 6-point (head/hands/feet/hip) tracking, fixing how upper arms clip through you.
However.. in the VRChat Modding Community, opinions are mixed. Some they they “like
it”, while others say “I’m staying off VRC until IKTweaks is updated”. And even some saying “RIP FBT users”.
The problem is.. we’re stuck with it until IKTweaks gets fixed and uploaded. And this to me sadly couldn’t come on a worse time, as the script I wanna say to Jero is ready and
I ‘need’ my mods to do this properly. ..Actually I don’t but they would be nice to have.

However there are things I REALLY like about this update, and one of them is the new SDK 3.0 has doubled the StateParameter limit! Instead of it being 118, now it’s 218! Past Benie would had loved this change… if Atherian didn’t mess with the file.
Anyway, make sure you get the latest Avatars 3.0 SDK to take advantage of this.
