Latest Astroneer update, the wait continues

Editor’s Note: *After someone has shown me something that I was quite blinded to, I have completely rewrote this blog post*
Astroneer has been updated to 0.6.2.0 tonight, though sadly it hasn’t fixed the issue that people worry about– their rovers running out of power when in caves.
However, they have posted a workaround. This same workaround was seen from one of ‘Z1 Gaming”s latest Astroneer playthrough videos, ‘Broken Rovers?!‘)
If you have a power resource node (called a “power nugget” by the devs) attached somewhere on your rover, and your rover runs out of power, it will start to consume the nugget (as a backup power source). It does take away from having extra room on your rover, but it’s all we got (for now).
As for when the fix (should) happen, they say “we will address them in our next content update, coming in March.” Hopefully this is a promise. They also thank the people who have reported all the issues. Glad they’re thinking about us, and not saying “screw it, we’re not bothering to fix it” (as I originally thought, until I read they -will- fix it).

I was quite furious, when I shouldn’t have (if I had just read the entire thing). Especially when I felt I waited patiently for a week until they posted the update, and thinking “THIS is the way they treat us?!”.
But, it’s all good now. Sure, my reputation is more tarnished than the color of oil (of making a ranting post in the Astroneer Steam Discussion board), but people will (hopefully) forget.
