Since I got this game, and since I made posts on the Steam forums, I’ve been getting friend invites left and right. The first one was a group invite, followed by a friend invite the next day (denied both).
Then I get an invite from a guy named ‘NiGHTS’ ingame to help me out to get my Adder. The next few days, I get an invite from ‘Mheeka’ who showed up after my discussion about if it’s wrong to fear Interdictions.
The next one is from ‘Krotera’, who “wanted to speak to nice people”. And finally in my thread to go to the California Nebula, I get an invite from a ‘joshthomas134’ who wants me to meet him ingame to check out another Nebula.
I don’t know why I’m suddenly getting random people friending me left and right. I’ve never had this when I played Space Engineers (except those few instances). I just wonder who else is going to pop up on my friends list before it’s all said and done.
It’s not that I don’t mind talking to other people, I just find it rather odd that it took this game to to become (in)famous. Maybe they like my avatar. Maybe they like my profile. I have absolutely no idea.
