This was the first game I got from GameFly as part of my 30 day free trial. It was to see the start of The Walking Dead, having got Season Two from PS+.
Is it good? Yes. It actually makes sense, compared to the last game. And it has zombies in it. Lots of zombies.

The game starts in and around Atlanta, GA. Unknown year.
You play as Lee, sitting in a cop car with his hands cuffed and being taken to jail for an unknown crime. You’re going out of the city on an interstate. And while the cop driving the car keeps harassing you, something is going on that’s causing tons of cops and other things heading towards the city. As the officer keeps talking, someone walks infront of the car and causes the car to go through the guardrail and crash.

Lee survives the crash by escaping the crashed cop car, finds the keys of the handcuffs and frees himself, only for the officer (who looks like his body was drug out of the car) to turn into a zombie. Thankfully, the officer’s shotgun and a single shell are nearby, allowing Lee to kill the zombified officer and escape, having more zombies chase after him (while tripping a lot. Lee is notorious for frequent tripping).

Then you meet Clementine after killing her zombified babysitter. And that’s where your adventures continue. Overall, I really like this game. It’s better than Season Two, as it actually makes sense. Though I’m still curious of how did Lee find himself in the back of a police car, handcuffed.
And also, where did the zombified babysitter come from, when there was no one in the kitchen except a pool of blood and footsteps leading into it?

Anyway, time for.. (Lee trips over the review for comic relief) DAMNIT, Lee!!;

Good:
-It’s a fun game. It really pulls you into the story and makes you want to play more of it.
-The characters are lifelike and easy to understand their feelings.

Bad:
-$15 price tag. $10 would be more reasonable.

.
Final Review: It’s got zombies. It’s got a scared girl who just wants her parents to come home. It even has a klutz black person. What more could you ask for? Dragons with lasers coming from their eyes?
Now ZOMBIE Dragons with lasers coming from their eyes would be awesome. 🙂
