Just a little something I wanted to post about. Keen Software House has released their 100th update since the release of Space Engineers. Since I used to cover each and every update before they started shifting to Multiplayer and Survival, I just got tired of doing so.
This update is no exception. It’s focused on the Survival aspect; giving pirate bases and AI drones (made automatically) that can attack you. Also there were changes to the Autopilot system. I didn’t even KNOW there was an autopilot feature! But anyway, this update detects and avoids asteroids and other ships, yet still going back to the specific target.
And lastly, jaw-dropping images of the planet feature that’s coming soon (people want this so very badly). I personally feel it’s going to be a laggy, unoptimized mess. Though I trust their dev team to have it set that anyone can see the planets in HD quality. They’re certainly taking their time with this, which is always good.
And… that’s about it. The autopilot feature really interests me. Wish I was paying attention to the news of when it was announced as a feature.
