Why I feel Far Cry 4 isn’t worth the money

I’ve been asked quite a few times, of if I’m going to play Far Cry 4 and do a review on it. Well… I don’t have to, and I can still give one. And it’s not the fact it still uses uNoUseSteamForThis.
Far Cry 4 is pretty much, Far Cry 3 with added bells and whistles. Sure, it’s not on an island complex and it’s in a temperate to cold place.

See.. all you do to play Far Cry 4, is liberate every base to get rid of all of the question marks in the map. That and occasionally take out convoys, defend bases, rescue hostages, do Karma Events (save people from enemies), get two packages as quick as you can to a specific area, and defend a moving truck. You also have a wingsuit which allows you to approach areas a different way, and also the personal mini three-seated helicopter.
The game also has Single Player deathmatch, pitting you against NPCs of increasing difficulty (and based on killing with a specific weapon).

But really, you still got ‘kill thing with ONLY this weapon’ missions. Enemies also stop spawning when you liberate all the bases. Combat is the same. You still got takedowns, and knife throw ones. Though the crafting system has been a bit changed, as that if you collect two green leafs, the game auto-crafts a syringe for you.
How is this worth $60? Ohh yes. You can ride a freakin’ elephant into battle. And the game can also go Co-Op to invite your friends into your game. You couldn’t do these things in Far Cry 3.

Still doesn’t feel it’s worth $60. Or even $40 for that matter. The difference between Far Cry 1 and 2 were huge. And the difference between Far Cry 2 and 3 were pretty big too. Why does Far Cry 4 feel so…. copied? It feels like what should had been made an expansion for Far Cry 3, instead its own game.

But we all know how much Ubisoft loves money instead of their customers.
