Blizzard: Patch 6.2 and beyond WILL bring core content, they say

Let this mark my “Goodbye post” before my subscriptions end.

Yet, too bad they had a chance to move the story in Patch 6.1. But instead they blew it with Twitter integration. They had several months to keep their promises. Instead they give us more crap. They truly have lost touch with their playerbase.
My final WoW post will be when my subscriptions end, March 17th (exactly one month from now on the same date).
Sorry about this post being so short, but, as you know, I’m tired of this. So… no more. No more lies. No more hype. No more accepting bullshit. No more paying for a game that its company doesn’t give a fuck about their subscribers anymore. No more BlizzCon. No more WoW.
I. am. DONE, with Blizzard. They’ve lost me as a subscriber. And they’ve also lost me as a supporter. I will never go back. Not even if they have a dragon race in a future expansion. I am so… TIRED of them! I can’t fucking believe ANYTHING they say anymore!! It feels like more lies! More… “I fucking TRUSTED you” being taken away! THAT is how bad it’s gotten…

But am I done with MMOs completely? No. I will be moving onto Guild Wars 2, once my subscriptions end. And with that game, there is no monthly fees. And the content is much, much more fluid and less grindy (from what I’ve been told).

As painful as this also feels, saying goodbye to some good memories, and a Guild who’s members I’ll never ever see for the rest of my life, I feel I’m making a very wise decision. A tough, but firm decision.

Fuck you, Blizzard. May you rot in gamer hell… along with EA and Ubisoft.

P.S. I went a step further and tried to ask for a refund to the two copies of WoD I bought. I had a feeling it wasn’t possible, and I was unfortunately right. Not only was it too late to do so, but the fact I have active Level 100’s.
I told the chat guy “I had a feeling. Was hoping to use the money for something that isn’t crap. Sorry for wasting your time.” and ended the chat before the guy could respond with “I’m sorry I couldn’t help you!”
