Back in my element, with an issue!

My MRT element, that is. Frozen never responded to my email. Been waiting all day, watching the Dynmap in hopes he’ll show up. Finally, he does later on in the day. Hopped on, as he was preparing to get off. Though he knew the reason I came on, and responded to my email through PMs.
After he left, I was once again unsure if I should do it. Because he said to “make a 90 degree turn for the time being” for the T-intersections. And the size, to be based similar to the I-0/I-301 interchange.

Suppoe popped up later on. I asked him if he wouldn’t mind helping me. The way he talked, I assume he’s heard the GSM and knows what I’m talking about. He also said he would be able to help soon.
Knowing his expertize on angles, I was pretty sure I could pull it off. So I made the official request form. Just as I thought, I was the only one that entered. I found out later, that most people didn’t even bother entering, because they wanted me to do it. As cool as that is, it also feels unfair.
Anyway, frozen said he would come back an hour, and he did. And I got the job. Yay.

I went right to work, extending the road to get it ready. Suppoe showed up sometime later, then acted like he never listened to the GSM. But I went with it, having him do some terraforming. Eventually we agreed to have this section to be elevated. Then he had to leave for the night.

My first hurdles, where getting this thing past the hill in the way while heading to the first turn towards the North. Plus I had this ‘abandoned railroad’ I had to bridge over. More about this troubling thing later.
I found two good areas to spread out the road to true InterMap status. But linking it to the main road proved to be a chore. My math was way off at trying to find the magic number of how many ‘kicks’ I needed of the road to get it to where I needed.
I did get help from a guy in a tiger skin, who told me to find the number of kicks, is to take the mid point and divide that by the length of said mid point, and the center should be exactly where the center of the mid point is.

Having that down, I finally got one of the two sections of road going where I wanted. Had other help with general construction.

Early next morning (this morning), I and another were attempting to finish off the really wide section of road. Suddenly I start getting bothered by a random guy who wants answers of why I’m going over his precious line. It’s the owner of the railroad line that the road goes over.
So, I’m being treated as the bad guy here for not talking to this guy before building the road. I tried to tell him, that this isn’t my doing; to talk to frozen as this is HIS project, not I.
Now, I’m not blaming frozen for not making sure all perm requests were known. Maybe the staff too felt the railroad was abandoned, or they forgot to mention this during the GSM.

Either way, I get yelled at when it’s not my fault. I’m just doing a job here. I hope this mess clears itself. But until it does, I’m going to delay the project. I will have to talk to frozen (and the rest of the staff) about this and get it straightened out before I continue.
I don’t want to be accused of breaking a rule, when I got perms from a Mod.

That’s not the only reason I’m delaying. I had a really bad sinus headache that came out of the blue, and making it hard to focus on building. Plus I was feeling nauseous. So it was a great combination of a sinus headache and mild motion sickness that forced me to quit for my head to stop pounding.
Thank goodness for Aspirin, though. Head feels better now, and so does my stomach. A good night’s rest will help. 🙂

.
EDIT: Plot twist. So the good night’s rest helped. Checked my email and Thomas has replied. What he’s saying, it’s my responsibility…?! Um, no? This is not what I signed up for. I was told what perms I had to ask and nothing more. Nothing about RLcrafters. Now it looks like I have to answer for it, because I didn’t wait for RL to come on…
*faceknife*

Wish I didn’t start this. Though you’re probably saying “Look, just ask him for permission as if it was your road! Yes, frozen’s the one that planned it, but you’re still responsible as you’re the builder.”
I’m only responsible if I don’t do my job right. It’s still up to the employer (aka _frozen) to make sure everything is good with the project! I’m the one building. He’s the one planning. I’m doing what he wants me to do. All the sudden, that’s thrown for a loop by the Admins, pinning the blame on ME!

So later on, as I was waiting for RL to hopefully work with him. This guy named ‘ValachSarkhor’ worked with me. Believe a tunnel under the railroad instead of over it and working around the hill infront of it in an awkward way, and it will force the road to go where I want it for the next section.
Still have to wait for RL, though. Robin came on a bit later, saying he wanted to talk to RL as well. I sort of assumed it was about my email, and the way he acted, he was a bit annoyed at RL for raising hell over something so pointless. This is good. 🙂 I want to see this.

.
EDIT2: It’s 1:09am. Everyone’s left the server, except for me. I’m losing my patience. No RLcrafters. Wish I never fucking started this. Wish frozen had this fucking thing sorted out before the proposal was made. No sign of him either.
I have a feeling, something happened with RL. He was supposed to be on “in 9 hours from now”. I feel he’s not going to show up. But I will wait all morning for him.

EDIT3: *sigh* 3:43am. I’ve given up my ‘obsession’ waiting for this fucking asshole to get on. What I was told, waiting for him was pointless at this time. So I tried just throwing a book to explain the situation, and how we can work this out.
I realize I need to occupy my brain by doing something else instead of wanting to throw vulgar words at this fuck. He should had stayed off, then this wouldn’t be a problem and I would had gotten the second section of the road half done by now. I lost a day of construction because of him!
This is why I hate depending on others. Because at times, you’re forced to.

Though I do feel my desire for this guy to come on, is going to cost me when the next road proposal comes up in March (if there is one). As in, not picked due to my temper.
