This is one of the four games I bought during the Steam Exploration Sale, and already I feel like Roger Wilco, the best janitor ever. The game includes Santa’s Rampage, and a DLC based off from Shadow Warrior(a game I didn’t get).
The game is simple. You’re a janitor sent in after a massive scene happened. The hero won the battle against the monsters, and you got to clean it up.
Cleaning up, well.. it’s super-simple. You got a Mop, and you just get a bucket out of your nearest Slosh-O-Matic. Though sometimes, the machine will troll you and give you a small body part instead of a bucket. Where these infinite buckets of water come from, is a mystery.
So you just gotta mop up blood splatters, and burn marks. Depending on the density of the blood, it’ll cause your mop to become useless until you wash it out with the bucket to be used again. The bucket will eventually be useless, and have to be thrown in the incinerator. Then you just get another bucket.
You can have multiple buckets at the same time; so a true bucket bergade you can have. 🙂
You also have a device called the Sniffer, which is useful for detecting if you completely made the level spotless. The machine has two modes; Organic and In-Organic. In Organic mode, it’ll pick up blood splatters, body parts,
There’s several levels, a few are still in Alpha. So yeah, this is in beta. Been having a few issues with it, as any beta.
I’ll discuss them later. I also discovered the Welder, and it’s a fun(but very loud) toy. You have to find the gun. This gun is used for two purposes;
1. To make large pieces(full size or pieces of corpses) that won’t really fit right in HazMat bins, to be more managable by destroying them into smaller bits.
2. An alterative way to destroy barrels and boxes. Though I don’t know if they even NEED to be removed from the map to say you’re done.
The gun can only be equipped if you have nothing in your hands, and will be dropped if you switch to the Mop or the Sniffer.
So, there’s no time limit to these levels. No punishment for taking your time. Yet there’s also a feeling of “Um… did I get paid? Did I do a good job?” if you clock out after completing your messy job.
I did the first map. This took me a good hour to clean up all the blood and body parts. There’s also shell casings left over from the fight. Anyway, I felt I completed it. I clocked out, and got sent to this.. I think Janitor’s Closet. It’s filled with janitor stuff.
There’s a door with a keycode I have no idea what it is. So my only option is leave this room, which sends me back to the Main Menu. I’m able to do the same map I just did, or do others. I… don’t get this. I’m hoping something gets added here by the developer.
I do see this possibly getting boring fast, of what feels like no purpose to clean up all of the blood and stuff. Again, I hope something gets added.

Going to the bugs and other weird things I’m seeing;
1. Strange implementation of Windowed Mode. Most if not all games, launch in full screen on the first run. This one launches in Windowed Mode. Yet it launched it where it wasn’t matching my resolution. It took time for me to get the window where I wanted it.
2. A strange yellow border on the lower right section of the game’s window, that seems to change colors depending on what you’re doing.
3. FPS losses at times. I’m sure these will be fixed. Maybe the developer hasn’t optimized the game yet.
4. A strange “bloop” sound that sometimes happens when using my mouse buttons.
I will be checking out Santa’s Rampage sometime after Thanksgiving, and doing a review of this. Maybe near the start of December.
