BlizzCon 2014 schedule unveiled

Today, MMO-Champion was nice enough to show BlizzCon’s schedules (for the people that are actually going there). Ridiculous.. $15 a day parking. That doesn’t even include gas to drive from Indiana to California. Then you got food, then a hotel room once you get there. Though, you could just fly there and then use a rental car to get to one of the expensive parking lots, and then take a public shuttle to BlizzCon.
Fortunately for people like me that are interested in BlizzCon yet don’t have the means to get there, the Virtual Ticket is still available. So you’ll be able to see a Live Stream of BlizzCon from the comfort of your house.
Plus, I believe DirecTV once again will be showing BlizzCon. Though, if it’s anything that I went through in 2011, where I paid $40, yet DirecTV didn’t seem to notice this, and still had to watch it on the Live Stream… it’s not worth the hassle.

Going back to the point of this post. From what I’m reading of the schedules of the 7th and 8th, it shows the 7th being mostly about Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, Heroes of The Storm, and Diablo 3(mainly, championship rounds). And the 8th, is when there’s a few WoW-related events.
So it’s likely, this year’s BlizzCon isn’t going to have anything really exciting, other than maybe the mention of this “Warcraft Movie” they said back last year.

However, there’s rumors, and they are many, that Blizzard may be hiding something WoW-related on Friday and won’t unveil it until during BlizzCon. Maybe to announce the next expansion, before even releasing WoD? Lol.. if you believe that, you’re an idiot. I doubt any major announcements are going to be planned. Not until either 2015 or 2016.

So anyway, here’s all the WoW activities I’m reading. Times have been converted from PST to EST(minus the hour due to DST ending in early November);

November 7th(Friday);
2pm-2:45pm: BlizzCon 2014 Opening Ceremonies
2:45pm-7:15pm: The WoW Championship Matches (for people that care about that)
5:15pm-6:15pm: Talk about the “Warcraft Movie” they mentioned in BlizzCon 2013.
7:15pm-8:45pm: Talk about changes coming in WoD. Items, Class Changes,
Garrisons. Stuff we already know.
And that’s all the stuff they’ll possibly live stream. There’s a few other WoW-related things, but you’d have to be there to see them. Such as the voiceovers of WoD, and getting autographs from the devs.

November 8th(Saturday);
1pm-2pm: The WoW Live Raid. Saw this in 2011. Two high-ranking PvE raids will try to complete a Heroic dungeon the fastest. I would imagine this being Heroic SoO.
1pm-3pm: WoW Championship Semifinals.
3pm-4:15pm: WoW Championship Finals. The best of the best.
5:15pm-6:15pm: Discussion of the climatic of WoD. And bringing back the heated discussion of no flying in Draenor. 😛
6:30pm-7:30pm: WoD Q&A. The main reason I wanna go to BlizzCon so badly.
9:30pm-12:00am(November 9th (Sunday)): BlizzCon 2014 Closing Ceremonies

That’s about it. I do find this “Warcraft Movie” interesting. Hope it becomes a real thing that we’ll eventually be able to watch on DVD.
And of course, the Q&A. Though it’s a real shame you have to be there and can’t submit your questions on Twitter or something, like the Live Q&A they had in late August.
