Playing with WoW, Exploring and Training

So I’ve been flying around, trying to find something to do. I first went back to the vale to see how Golden Lotus rep has been affected since what Douchebag Hellscream did. And the answer is.. big time. The Golden Pagoda is destroyed. But the Golden Lotus are still around, just have evacuated to the Garrison there.
I learned now, you can kill any mob wondering around the vale and get rep for Golden Lotus. No longer is it only based off of dailies. So yay for that.

I went to the Garrison, and discovered a new Daily quest that is really fun. It seems Blizzard is giving you another option to do those boring, annoying dailies, by doing a different kind of one that tests your skills instead of how patient you are or how good your gear is.
It’s called “Roll Club”. You get to roll up in a ball and roll down the Serpent’s Spine, using these powerups to make you faster. If you do this in 70 seconds or less, you’ll get an achievement. Nice touch, Blizzard. Though I would personally want to do this in my Dragon Form.

There’s also another new daily at the White Tiger Temple, of getting a torch all the way to the Proving Grounds, while avoiding small tornadoes. This has to be a reference to the torch of the Olympics.

After I completed that, I must had triggered an event that gave me mail from Lorewalker Cho. I didn’t see this until I teleported to SW to see if anything had changed. What’s left of Deathwing is still there.. still smothering. Yet I don’t see Garrosh’s head on a pike anywhere. I did see someone with the tag “the Hordebreaker”. I’m guessing this is what you get for doing the raid. Meh.

So that mail I got. He tells me to meet him urgently. Before I did that, I headed over to the AH and scanned, then sold all of my BoE gear. I doubt I’ll get anything for it. At least it cleared my inventory. Then I warped back home and flew there.
The Lorewalker has a new quest for me.
It appears King Varian has been busy when I’ve been on the MRT, trying to get the dwarves of Ironforge to assist him against a tribe of trolls. No one could send aid, as they were worried the Dark Irons would take over IF.
An ironic twist, with the leader of the Dark Irons offering to help. So they left. He wants to know what happened next. The only way to do this, is enter a Group Scenario.
I was shocked the Dark Irons would help. They are the bad guys here! So I decided to check out the scenario, praying it’s a Solo one… it wasn’t.

My two teammates ran ahead, knowing what to do while I stayed behind.. facepalming. But when her and the king started to talk, I thought “Hmm, this isn’t so bad, I’ll take screenshots of the conversation here”.
So following the conversation, the Dark Irons seem to want to redeem themselves for all the things they did. Interesting. I would have to play the scenario more to really understand what’s going on.. but I needed to train before I really started to play again.

So, back to the White Tiger Temple I flew, and made it safely. You have to go inside the large open area. And on the right corner near the door, there’s a Pandarian that helps you to train. You start a scenario (a solo one this time) and then pick your class. I of course went for Damage.
So, you have to defeat waves of visionaries (enemies that won’t attack back) before time runs out. With Damage… I only got up to Round 4 (barely too) and failed. Most times, I failed at Round 3. Meh… that proves I still don’t have the gear I need to do a lot of DPS. At least…… at least I don’t have actual players yelling at me about that. This thing seems damn useful for me, even more than just training. I can use this thing, as target practice. So when I’m able to kill quickly, is when I know I’ll pretty much be ready for anything.
It pits you against Level 90+ enemies, which is perfect for me.

There is one thing I didn’t like; the other “classes”. You see, I was hoping it would actually turn you into being a Tank or a Healer-based class instead of using what you have.
Instead… of the Tank and Healer training, you’re still Damage. So… what’s the point of having those options? I’m not a multi-role class (Druid/Monk/Pally) here, so I shouldn’t be needing this.

It is cool, though, that they have an Reforger and someone that can repair your gear in the room.
But all of this… to be honest isn’t the content I really care for to continue playing, until the next EP. Patch 5.4 is mostly based around raiding than actually doing things that I would enjoy.

I could grind grind grind until I get all that Valor gear, but what purpose does it have anymore? Plus I haven’t used Mr. Robot for months. I think the gear I already have now that I worked hard for, needs to be upgraded.
Valor isn’t like Justice. Valor has that god damn weekly limit that makes it even more annoying, and more of a reason to not even care to play. I was hoping Blizzard would fix this. But no, they didn’t. They just made it easier for Raiders to have their kicks.
If that limit wasn’t there and I could get as much Valor as I need until was capped like Justice.. then yes I would grind dailies again. But that’s not going to happen. Ever.
