BSoD’s galore; has Mr “LOL LOCKUP!!” made a comeback?

It’s been awhile since I posted news of the health and well-being of my computer. It’s just, because this news is quite ugly, and I have no idea what the fuck is going on or why it’s happening.
My computer, for the most part usually only had issues during boot into Windows, by freezing up on a blue screen (or even the “welcome” screen). The only fix to this is either restart and hope it’s just a fluke, or restore Windows in Safe Mode to a previous instance. I have to tell my computer to “please boot normally”, and usually it does.

A BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) is more serious, particularly the one I’m getting. It’s a “MEMORY_MANAGEMENT” one. This BSoD is popping up more and more, and it’s scaring me half to death. Because I looked it up, and it states you could have a serious flaw with your RAM. As in, one of the sticks could be dying. The problem is, I can’t afford to upgrade my computer anytime soon, or have it dying on me. As you can see, this is coming at a really bad time.

Seeing how my computer hasn’t been dusted out in months, I had it done. And so far…*knocks on wood* the BSoD hasn’t popped up. I’m still on edge and scared to do anything. What’s ironic is my brain also wants to buy and play Borderlands 2. And I’m trying to tell it that I don’t know if my computer is even stable enough for basic tasks, such as surfing the web, or even typing this blog post, let alone a resource-demanding game like Borderlands 2.

I’ve also had a few issues with programs randomly crashing for no reason; Firefox in particular has been malfunctioning. I just hope whatever the hell happened, balances itself out overtime. It seriously has to. I can’t afford it!
