I’m now Level 76! 😀 Just one away from getting my wings back, via Cold Winter Flying. I’m finished with the Borean Tundra, and the Grizzly Hills.
Now I focus my attention on the zone I nearly stopped leveling because of; Dragonblight.
So far I’m liking the quests. Killing members of the blue flight. Stopping the scourge for advancing. But probably the coolest, and I say most honorable quest I’ve ever done, was defending Wrymrest Temple.
What’s so cool about it? It’s not the fact that I get to finally live my fantasies as battling on a dragon and controlling him, but the fact the quest is a Daily. Meaning, I can do it once every day.
Why does it feel like an honor though? The fact I get to help against the blue flight, and be on a red drake, battling the blue dragons using my dragon’s attacks. Your classic fireball and stuff.
You really get to feel how bad the danger is if the red flight fails to defeat the blue flight, when you’re getting ganked left and right by enemy dragons. But at least you can heal your dragon and fight again.
And as an added bonus, if you complete this daily quest in 2 minutes or less, you get an achievement.
Anyway.. where was I? Ohh.. heh. Sorry. I just get in that “Ohh god that quest was sooooo epic.” mood. I guess the fact I’m one away from flying in Northrend, I could talk about the struggle I got here from Level 70.
I’m actually damn surprised I made it this far. I don’t feel any stronger though. I guess since most of the gear on me has been on me since Level 70. Haven’t found any upgrades. Except for my cloak, boots, wrists, and recently my shoulders.
Yesterday I did my first group instance since I quit WoW, which was in Dragonblight. Some instance called “Azur’Naub” or something like that(I’m currently typing all of this out of game right now. Trying to figure out why ChatThrottleLib isn’t showing up).
All I did basically was just solo quests, and kill a few straggling mobs here and there which helped me to ding.
I started in Howling Fjord. Did a few quests. Did a few more. Explored alittle, and finally got to Level 71.
As I got closer to 76, I began to get more aggressive at questing. Making sure I stick to them to get there as quick as I could.
Questing in general has been alot better than it was going from 60-70. At this time, 10 levels before, I was in Nagrand questing. And the hardest place to quest was Zangarmarsh.
Here, I’ve only been to Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, and now Dragonblight. There was a few dull moments, but when it comes to the collection quests, they weren’t nearly as bad as in Zangarmarsh… ugh.
I had to pay someone to level my Druid to get to Nagrand… I couldn’t stand leveling at Zangar.
Anyway, I’m glad I pushed myself to get this far. If it wasn’t for my pet, Norb, I don’t think I would’ve had a chance.
