Ah. The first Wurm blog entry of 2009…
Why is it that most if not all MMORPG’s I have played, cause me to pretend I’m an actor in some soap opera, moaning and groaning that things aren’t working the way I want?
Wurm is no different. Though it isn’t a true MMORPG, it still has drama. And if you want a taste of this drama… well, you better be hungry. Because I got alot of drama to feed everyone.
Basically, what’s going on in Wurm lately is quite a few things. 1 thing, I’ve been on my sailboat alot last week. If you’ve been in the Wurm forum, I’ve been trying to get Joedirttwo the help he needed to complete the incomplete landbridge, north of Deathgate Falls. There’s been alot of controversy over the completion of this landbridge.
If it is such a wise thing to do, or will it piss alot of boaters off to not have access to Valerie Bay anymore.
Before I started this thread of asking for help, I’ve also been ‘busy’, helping Joedirttwo out with this landbridge. More like trying to convince him what he’s doing is pointless, since no one else seems to want the bridge to be finished.
And if that’s not bad enough, evil gale winds blowing in the wrong direction and fog where not only trying to piss me off; they where delaying me, and getting me lost.
Anyway, passing that, we go back to Dragon Forest. Ahh yes… the home of drama, my arch nemesis. And my has it been so filled with drama it would flood Bearback Lake.
This drama started with my old friend, the “Maybe I should move. Boats are out and I wanna live by the ocean!” thought, which I explained in the post below this.
Trying to keep my depressed brain busy, I started work on the ramp idea angry had. But guess what? He may’ve had the idea, but that didn’t mean he was going to help me with it.
And when that day came when I finally got him down there, I actually wished I didn’t. Because as soon as he stepped into the sphere known as drama, he started carrying on how it’s “my fault” for something that happened in Bennie Bay.
And that thing was me going behind his back and telling Baalel about the thing with angry wanting to go back to Neveron and putting Baalel in charge of the bay. Angry kept on saying that Baalel said that he didn’t wanna be responsible, which was a shock to me. I thought he would be happy, not angry with the news.
Because as much as he cared to see Bennie Bay prosper, I thought for sure he wouldn’t mind. It turns out I thought wrong.
And to this very day, angry is blaming me for Baalel leaving, because he didn’t wanna risk angry actually giving control of Bennie Bay to him.
Since then, angry’s been losing members.
Yes. It was wrong by going behind angry’s back and telling Baalel. But like I said, I thought he wouldn’t mind.
Ohh, and the drama train didn’t stop at the station of Blame and Untrustworthy… no no no. It kept going. And it’s about to derail.
Angry, being well… himself, said that he was ‘done’ with my ramp which I didn’t get a chance to help him with, and left.
After apologizing multiple times to him about him not trusting me, once again I tried to get him to help me… bad move. Train FUCKING derailed!
He said that I treat him like a slave, and took all the sorries I said and made them hollow.
And so, with the drama train now on fire, I stopped playing Wurm after that. Me and angry also aren’t talking to each other as much.
Anytime I mention the word “Wurm” anymore, he won’t talk all day. Or until I talk about something else.
Which makes it very difficult since I still need help.
