I got my system upgraded yesterday. I now have a shiny, new motherboard, 2GB of DDR-2 RAM, a new Geforce 9400GT video card, and a 2.20GHz Quad-Core CPU.
However, I’m not happy, and neither is angry.
Why angry isn’t happy: For not believing him that I didn’t have to reformat my C drive and they told me I had to. I told him why, because it would give a shitload of driver problems. But he refuses to hear it.
WHAT could I do?! WHAT?? I explained to him that my friend (angry) told me I didn’t have to do it. That he’s been messing with computers alot. And all they told me was that will be alot of corrupt drivers.
Was I supposed to just walk away with my computer? Then how would I get the upgrade then? Do it myself? HAH!
Why am I not happy: I learned that I was cheated. I was told they would give me a 3.0GHz Quad-Core CPU, and it turns out to be a 2.20GHz… I paid, nearly $500, for something that’s 0.19 FASTER?! My old CPU was a 2.01GHz.
They claim that Crysis will fly with this. .. How. HOW?! 2.20GHz will NOT MAKE CRYSIS FLY!!
