GNE update – Almost to Jaques!

As a response to the emails I’ve gotten of wondering how the Galactic Nebula Expedition in Elite Dangerous has been going, it has been going great. The meetups are still fun. Though Tea_Rex derped by boosting into the planet and losing a lot of hull; he’s now down to 27% (and his canopy is nearly cracked). Ouch.
He made a video about it, which you can find here (I’m the red Conda in the video…and you can hear my awesome voice at the start of it 😛 ).

As for me, I’m currently at WP6 with 94% hull left (and three SRVs). Found the LZ quite quickly (it’s in a large crater). And the view was killer. Saw two stars infront of me; the main star of the system and an L-type star that’s very close to the planet.
But yeah. We’re two Nebulae away from reaching Jaques! Very hyped about that. So sometime after October 15th, I’ll be there.

Plus the 2.2 patch is coming by the time we reach Jaques (and start scanning the neutron fields around the core). And by then it’ll be sooo much fun being around them (due to the FSD boost they give). And also the cool superheated jets they produce.
So.. that’s about it for now. Sorry if you expected a video or me streaming.
