While I was on my vacation, back at Small Bears, a group of people started work on a long tunnel, connecting it to NewTown. It’s supposed to be high and wide enough to let even the largest ship through it, and connect access to the ocean from NT.
This has been discussed for quite a long time, but only now have they begun construction on this tunnel. I did volunteer to lend my pickaxe but I was on my vacation around the Home server.
And according to the forum, they’re 5 tiles away from connecting the ocean to NT. Soon I’ll be able to build a pier for my boats, and won’t have to walk all the way to Small Bears.
And an update. The tunnel is COMPLETE! 😀 NewTown is now connected to the ocean!
