I went to Halcyon (yet again to see if it disbanded). Not yet. But I did find something new. A butchered corpse of a Young scorp next to the fence. Who lured it to the guards, and why is it there?
I then checked the token and saw something else disturbing… Infinity was disbanded yesterday, by a person named “Dragonbait”. Odd name. Angry told me that a person was preserving Infinity, but I guess the person ran out of money or got bored.
I decided to board my boat and get proof. I soon found the unfortunate truth about rowboats; they are fucking SLOW! You can swim faster than that.
I already knew they where slow, but this is really starting to go past my intolerance level.
What seemed like 20 minutes, I made it to the other side of the lake, left the boat and headed up the road toward Infinity, and yes… it is disbanded.
I went home after this, thinking about the boat, my land, and Infinity. Telling angry in Yahoo.
The mid-morning sun brought more drama when Sgal and a few others showed up in my Local, but I don’t see them. Something about mining.
Me and them talked about boats, soon it lead to Ruffle. Where I was received a disturbing thought. Ruffle is an ALT!! An alt of 1 of the goons in Wild. I wish sgal told me this sooner, when angry was on. Well, I will send him the logs when I can.
Is this bad? YES! Does it mean I lost my land to the goons, which was rightfully theirs in the first place? Maybe. The fact the person that plays Ruffle hasn’t been on, there’s still a chance, but now a very slim one.
Why is this bad? The goons are an unruly bunch. They made everything that’s named “Bearback”, from the highway, to the mountain(well they didn’t DO the mountain, but the village next to it. And Bearback Mountain Castle. Both are decaying due to being disbanded for years).
In other words, I’ve pretty much have lost the land to the goons. But in a way, it’s cool that they didn’t really touch the work I put in.
If this other place I saw on the map hasn’t been taken over, I could make it look like my old land with some work, depending if I can get a deed on it.
I will plan to visit it on my boating expedition tomorrow.
