As they say, a new year means new things (or to improve from the last year). And next year will bring a few changes and additions to the way I do videos.
First off, my intro and outro will remain the same into next year. I like my “Welcome to another Benies-Blogs.com PS4 Game Review!”, as it feels it’s ‘branding’ the video with my website (which was one of the reasons of starting the entire video thing in the first place). It also (I feel) separates my videos from standard video reviews.
The second change
So I’ve been thinking… the ‘Benie Fails At’ series is good, but I really wish there was a way to just do a playthrough of a random game. It would be similar to a Review video (less than 30 minutes), yet just pick a random date instead of “New videos every X day!”.
The thing about it, say that I got several review videos to do(if for some reason, Playstation Plus had a shitload of free games to download for the PS4). I do them, and maybe a week later… I restart the series when I have time.
I’ve decided on a new series, starting sometime in January (and it won’t bother my review videos, or the next ‘Benie Fails At’ game). By the way, the
(which will be announced on January 1st and Series 2 will start on the 9th of that month. I promise).
It will be called “Benies-Blogs.com PS4 Game Playthrough”. It will be one 30 minute episode, instead of ‘Part#’. It’ll simply feature me playing the game, either to completion, or just fucking around and playing side quests. It will not be chapter-based, so it could take as many as 20 or so episodes of me just messing around and enjoying the game.
And I think the perfect game to start this series off, is ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’.
