The Top 10 Games (that I played) of 2015!

Welcome to my list of The Top 10 Games (that I played) of 2015! The games have been simply sorted of how I felt about them, based on design, controls, my review of them.. everything.
This is the first time ever that PS4 games are also part of this list. And also note, this list isn’t of games released this year. It’s what games I’ve reviewed this year; both PC and PS4.

The rules, are as stated;
Must be a game I have played and reviewed in 2015.
Must have a blog post of my review, stating the date I originally played it.
No old games that were updated(unless the update was substantial).
Free games (such as Demos) are allowed.
Games that were reviewed two weeks before this list was created, are invalid to be on this list.

A total of 14 nominees! Sadly, 4 of these games didn’t make the cut.
And now, without further ado.. *drumroll* *drumroll* *drumroll* *drumroll*
The 10 Top Games (that I played) OF 2015!!!

NUMBER 10

Little Big Planet 3
System: PS4
Date of Review: February 2nd, 2015
A shock to see this so low on the list, I bet. But the fact I never completed the game due to how frustrating it is, I think it’s perfect right here. However, this game is still good, giving you the option to customize your chars, your room thing, and even create your own levels(or play ones made by other players).

NUMBER 9

SpaceEngine
Platform: PC
Date of Review: January 13th, 2015
The question of “is there life on other planets” has always wondered scientists. Here, you can visit possible Earth-like planets(even land on them). And if you’re bored of the Milky Way, you can explore other galaxies.
Think of this being a free (yet stripped down) version of Elite: Dangerous.

NUMBER 8

Never Alone(“Kisima Ingitchuna”)
System: PS4
Date of Review: April 14th, 2015
A beautiful story of a young woman who goes out to find food, but is saved by a fox spirit who helps her out. It had some fun puzzles too.

NUMBER 7

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
System: PC
Date of Review: January 10th, 2015
Never got into the Assassin’s Creed series before, but this one promised to be fun. And it was fun to sail around the Caribbean on your own boat.

NUMBER 6

Valiant Hearts: The Great War
System: PS4
Date of Review: April 8th, 2015
“War… war never changes.” But this isn’t related to the Fallout series. This explains the hardships of war, and what it was like to get drafted into the army against your own will. But it also shows that friendship can still be a thing, even during war times.

NUMBER 5

Killzone: Shadow Fall
System: PS4
Date of Review: July 20th, 2015
Ahh… Killzone Shadow Fall. The kickstarter of the ‘Benie Fails At’ series, and all around a pretty good game. Will never forget you, Kellen.

NUMBER 4

Broken Age
System: PS4
Date of Review: October 7th, 2015
This was destined to be on this list, due to its well-told story and beautiful backdrops. That’s all I can say. Congrats on 4th place!

NUMBER 3

Tearaway Unfolded(Demo)
System: PS4
Date of Review: September 28th, 2015
Tearaway Unfolded is a really fun family game that teaches you about how squirrels can be guides by having a D-Pad over their head. Also, this was the first game that uses motion control and the light of the DUALSHOCK 4 Controller; a huge step forward for game technology that trumps the Wiimote.

NUMBER 2

Rocket League
System: PS4
Date of Review: July 18th, 2015
Come now… don’t tell me you didn’t expect this game to be high on the list!
When you have a bunch of souped up cars, and a huge soccer ball.. what better way to use it by inventing a game where the cars are soccer players?! If you haven’t played this game yet… add it to your list of the things you should definitely do before you die. This game is also available on PC!

!!!NUMBER 1!!!

MAGICKA 2
System: PS4
Date of Review: November 5th, 2015
Holy hell, this was a really, really fun game. It deserves this spot for so many reasons. This changed my opinion of RPG games on a console. It’s a hilarious fuck with game, and the death beam was.. “SO MUCH BLOOD!!!”

Congratulations to the developers of these games that made my list! And to the ones that didn’t make the cut… well… please remember this is my opinion.

On the 30th, I will be doing something different; a ‘Top 10 Games I dislike of 2015’ list. It will feature games I really didn’t like this year, from bad console ports to broken games.
Again, they will be based from my opinion.

Thanks for viewing, and I can’t wait to see what I review in 2016!
