So, remember when I said “I think I’m going to buy this” in my Witcher 3 review? I did last Thursday. I was supposed to get the case and the manual.
It came today, and when held the case in my hand, it felt heavier than a normal PS4 game case. I opened it up and got so.. much more than just a manual. Let’s go on a rundown of what I got;
-A map of the game world, showing all the areas the player can go. In each area, it shows a man holding a banner. This obviously marks the faction of this place. Even has a few dragons flying around on the map. Pretty cool.
-A “The Witcher Universe Compendium”, explaining the lore behind the game, what a ‘Witcher’ is, lore of the player character.. all sorts of good stuff. It also comes with two codes that I will be sharing at the bottom of this post.
-The Witcher 3 game manual. Nothing really special. Just tells you the interface, abilities, and controller keybinds.
-Two ‘School of the Wolf’ stickers, colored in black and white (typical Witcher colors)
-A “thanks for buying” thing from the developers of the game, ‘CD PROJEKT RED’, with a “go here to download 16 DLCs for free” thing. 😮
-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Soundtrack! It has 31 tracks of the game’s music. 😀
-The game box that everything came in.
Hooooly FUCK, this is a lot of stuff for $25! I can’t thank the developers enough. I like to pretend they gave me this extra stuff from seeing my video review. But if that’s actually true or not, I’ll never know. I also don’t know if what’s in the case is the same for everyone. Please tell me if that’s true or not.
It’s just, the games I bought retail only had the manual and that’s it. This one had so much stuff.
Anyway, here’s the two codes I mentioned, that I will be giving out for free. Grab the codes NOW while you can!;
The Witcher: Battle Arena(grants immediate access “to a hero with an extra skin”): ZSXX-DW1T-YY4X-ASX8
The Witcher: “House of Glass” Comic Book: ML4BVLGL
Enjoy the free stuff!
