Mailroom time! Answering your emails.

Right. New thing. Got a ton of emails, and I felt I should make a blog of my responses to them. Most of them were actually pretty nice and helpful, others.. well. It’s the Internet afterall.
Anyway, the first thing, was several emails asking “How come you never played and reviewed the free games from Playstation Plus this month?”
Well, there’s actually three reasons why, and they’re quite simple;
1. I don’t see myself playing these games after being pissed off of how bad of a console port that Ether One was.
2. The hard drive space on my PS4. I don’t know how much I have, but already I’m being bitched at that I don’t have enough space to store my save games for Little Big Planet 3. There’s some good games that I want to keep, and I don’t feel like cleaning out the drive. It’s only 500GB, which isn’t much with this day and age.
3. Hearing that the Metal Gear Solid game they offer is a demo instead of full game, doesn’t have me interested.

Basically, I just… can’t keep doing this every month with only one hard drive, and no way to back up my current free games to another drive.

.
Another email I got, was how come I never covered E3 or any games of it. I really don’t care for E3 or any of these other gaming conventions. The only one I did care about was BlizzCon (but not anymore…).
I can’t really explain why I don’t care about them. I just… don’t. Guess I still blame WoD for ruining my taste in trying games. Keep thinking “who’s going to be the next gaming company that sees their customers as something to rob from instead of fellow human beings?”
Anyway, NerdCubed (aka Dan) never covered E3, yet he did a vblog on his NerdCubed in RL channel. This is just a regular blog, but I never followed what was going on with E3.

Another email said to check out the Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer. So I did. The choice of music was… meh. But it looks like we could be possibly making a return of the Rover from Mass Effect 1, on these cool planets. Even fighting on them.
And of course, going by the name, it won’t be happening in the Milky Way galaxy. Maybe the plot (and this is a random theory) is to keep the Reapers from sending the Andromeda galaxy into the Milky Way (which is actually going to happen in billions of years from now).
Lastly, it claims the release will be “holiday 2016”. This could mean anything, but I have a feeling we’re talking somewhere late Q4 of 2016 (around Thanksgiving/Christmastime).
The trailer doesn’t explain what happened after Mass Effect 3. Perhaps your randomly-colored choice doesn’t matter, and this is its own game. I feel it’s highly possible, and would make perfect sense. Of course, when has Bioware made sense?

So there you go, folks. If you have any more questions, you know where to reach me (as you already have).
