I’ve been watching Nobbel87’s latest Q&A last night, to the point it was 5 in the morning and needed to get to bed. He did it different this time, doing it live by grabbing questions from Twitch.
One of the questions was quite interesting, asking if Blizzard wants to do this alternate reality bullshit, if it means that anything is possible. The guy adds on by saying why didn’t they just go back and rewrite history that Garrosh doesn’t get defeated in SoO.
He says that it is possible. Then he starts talking like he was talking about the mindfuck ending of Bioshock Infinite.
This had me thinking.
They could had gone back to before Azeroth even existed and changed it to where the Titans never created the planet. But that would be boring.
They could had gone back to before Deathwing got defeated by you and Thrall and actually had him survive the third blow of the Dragon Soul. That is possible.
Constants and Variables. Yet, unlike Bioshock Infinite, Kyros and Garrosh were able to change the past, which they say isn’t possible in Bioshock Infinite. In that game, you can view these alternate timelines of things that would had happened, but you couldn’t change them, only relive them.
They did the impossible. Who’s to say they couldn’t do more, if Kyros was still alive?
