Mists of Pandaria was released without delay last night at 3:01am Eastern. I was on the MRT Server at the time, alone, which allowed me to do my own “Pre-MoP Party”. At the launch time, I set off lots of TNT outside of Spawn City. The fact it can explode but not do damage, allowed me to do this.
In two weeks from now (October 9th), which I feel when things will quiet down (less people flocking to Pandaria to level to 90), will be my time to get back into WoW and restart on the leveling highway, this time to Level 90. And this time I won’t be doing it solo. I’ll be dual clienting there. How will that work, I have yet to find out. I’m sure there will be a few places where I have to send one char in, then send the other. For example, an escort quest. I still remember helping my Druid in Uldum. That was nuts.
I’m just glad to say; good-BYE Cataclysm! No longer will Deathwing be a threat to Azeroth. Now, war is the threat. But it’s a threat I don’t have to deal with. Let the PvPers sort it out. 🙂

And that leads me to a rather embarrassing, yet…had to be done moment on the MRT Server. Last time I made a post, it was about Tom_1277.
Last week has been, interesting. It costed Ari’s and uugiggi’s jobs; with giggi getting the banhammer. The reason giggi got banned was, he used an alt account to spam profanities about the server, and about Frumple.
I suggested to Frumple who was on Mumble to check the IPs (though he never admitted I was the one that told him), and they matched. But he was hesitant to ban giggi after getting an email from him, who he forwarded to me.
I personally couldn’t give Frumple a decision, so I dragged NexZone30 aka nighthawk998 (a name that will be mentioned later in this post) into Mumble, since he was a part of this whole incident. Nex explained how he felt sorry for giggi at first, said that giggi apologized for it and “wouldn’t do it again”, but he lied, and Nex lost all respect for him. So Frumple used the banhammer after some thought.
Later on that week… is, well, something that had to be done. You’re probably saying to yourself “you got banned, right?”, no. I didn’t. Let me continue. It happened yesterday. Basically, Tom asked me if there’s a custom title he could have since he’s a Principle at his, school. I told him to check the FAQ, since it clearly states ‘no’. He claimed he didn’t see it. Of course, this made me “The fuck?! If I can see it, how come he can’t?!” in Mumble (not in those words, mind you).
Nex heard me and told me to calm down, saying how “this isn’t the Benie I know”. I tried to tell him “this is the real me”. Skipping a few details here and there, I mistakenly had him tell Frumple about this, who was online at the time, doing a full render. He’s doing renders on Monday Nights now instead of Friday Night.
In all honesty and in my defense, I told Nex what I really felt, that I felt since I came back to the server after playing WoW; that I feel “bonded” to the server in a bad way. And I wish I could just take off without saying anything, and come back when I want to. That way I won’t feel so stressed out when I do come back.
Basically, I wanna do what Frumple does. I’m sick of the complaints of dispensers being broken or need to be filled, and the WorldEdit requests. I really, really dreaded coming back to the server when I did.
After Nex got done talking to Frumple, he sent me a long email stating everything, but misunderstood what Nex told him at the end about me. I was all “I don’t want to be demoted just to take time off the server!”. Nex explained later on that he may not had told Frumple every word I had said, and went to tell him. Then came back and told me. Then I had the courage to talk to Frumple who explained everything, and said I was free to do whatever I need to do, to clear my mind. So, that’s a load off of mine.
He also told me what to do about Tom. To just back off if his stupidy gets to my breaking point. I told Frumple how “he (Tom) asks a lot of dumb questions”. I also told him how I “have been treating him like a regular member instead of a special one”, and I should of had more patience with him.
Frumple said how everyone makes mistakes; even himself. He claims that he made the mistake of modding Ari and Giggi in the first place. I told him the whole reason Ari (and even Chief) became Mod was, to take the load off of me on Day 3 of the server. Frumple explained how he should had put more time in finding mods instead of just picking them out of the blue and hoping they’ll behave.
As for the FAQ, I’ll admit it doesn’t clearly state “title”. It specifies suffixes and prefixes. Chief changed it to clarify so even Tom would understand.
Later on, Nex was talking to Tom through the chat, why Tom could be why the way he is. It’s clear now that he isn’t trolling and never meant to. He’s actually hurting inside. He explains it’s his school, which is causing him to do these things on the server. And about these two people who were ‘drawing on eachother’… *shivers*. Sounds like a bad horror movie.
So, TLDR: Tom got to me, Nex tried to comfort me, Frumple said everything’s ok. And I didn’t get banned. So everyone’s a winner! Except Tom anyway. Poor thing. Knowing this, I won’t be so harsh on him.
