And by Tuesday\/Wednesday it&#8217;s going to be even hotter. The first heat wave of the season, and likely won&#8217;t be the last. Summer isn&#8217;t even here yet, though. So this is a &#8216;early taste&#8217; of it (even though it&#8217;s late Spring). To me this is abnormal to have a heat wave before Summer gets here.<br \/>\n&#8211;<br \/>\nAnd&#8230; get this. It could be coupled by a Derecho event happening tonight that&#8217;s going to clip north of me. What is a Derecho? Think of bowing line of storms that can last for a very long time, and cross several states. What&#8217;s bad is these storms have wind gusts 75-100+MPH. They are known to cause widespread power outages (that can last for<br \/>\ndays), and cause a lot of damage. The infamous Iowa Derecho that happened last year should give an idea of their devastating power that is remembered (and respected) for decades.<br \/>\nMuch like the derecho that went through here after I got back from Washington D.C in 2004. I will never forget that frightening (but wild) night.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on to what happened yesterday now.<br \/>\n==============================================================<br \/>\n<em><strong>Malice is alone<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n==============================================================<br \/>\nLast night, as I was finishing off the last post I mentioned how I saw Malice alone in a world. I honestly couldn&#8217;t believe it. Not one of his friends joined him. I felt sorry for him and wanted to make things right by joining him. He was in Sovern&#8217;s Chill home&#8230; where the shitstorm happened over a month ago that had one time made me lose Jero as a friend.<br \/>\nAnyway, he was in the secret area, infront of the fire. He was high, as usual. I wanted to ask him if he&#8217;s spoken to Jelly, but I wanted to be respectful.<br \/>\nInstead I messaged Jelly to see how he&#8217;s doing. According to him, he&#8217;s tried talking<br \/>\nto Malice about this but he won&#8217;t respond. He also doesn&#8217;t want to be annoying and has stopped asking, but feels understandably burnt by this.<br \/>\nStill tried to resist asking if he spoke to Jelly.. but I had another issue on the horizon.<br \/>\n==============================================================<br \/>\n<em><strong>Stubborn Jero<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n==============================================================<br \/>\nI saw Jero come on. Quietly said &#8220;oh shit oh shit oh shit&#8221; to not have Malice hear me. For once I prayed he would join a public instance. That&#8217;s when I checked VRCX and.. he&#8217;s joining HERE. Oshi&#8211;!! &#8230;What do I DO?! Looked at Malice, knowing I had to say something. So I said &#8220;um.. I need to go to spawn, something&#8217;s come up and yeah I need to go to spawn&#8221;. It was the only thing I could think of. Thankfully he didn&#8217;t know what I was really talking about.<br \/>\nAt spawn I saw Jero preparing to leave. Came up on him and he saw me. I was a bit nervous and didn&#8217;t know how to tell him that Malice was here, so I said &#8220;by the<br \/>\nway, um&#8230; someone you have blocked is here&#8221;. And he was OK with that, which really made me question &#8220;so if you&#8217;re OK with that, why did you say before how you almost joined? If you&#8217;re OK, why did you tell me you &#8216;nearly made a mistake&#8217; joining?&#8221; &#8230;I can&#8217;t remember his answer, but I really don&#8217;t care. He&#8217;s going to be stubborn and noone&#8217;s going to change his mind.<br \/>\nAnyway, I thought &#8220;alright, so if you&#8217;re OK. Follow me&#8221;. And I lead him to the secret area. Entered, and Malice asked me &#8220;is your friend coming?&#8221; I said &#8220;he&#8217;s already here&#8221;. That&#8217;s when he found out who the friend is asked me &#8220;what is their name?&#8221; I was confused but also really nervous, trying to explain to him through DMs. He didn&#8217;t understand why he didn&#8217;t see Jero. I was forced to pull him aside and tell him that Jero &#8220;has blocked you and won&#8217;t unblock you over what happened&#8221;.<br \/>\nHe was really disappointed and feels the same way I do that this is stupid, but I<br \/>\nsaid &#8220;there&#8217;s nothing I can do. You&#8217;ll have to deal with it&#8221;. After that I quickly ran back<br \/>\nto Jero and gave him a hug, hoping he wouldn&#8217;t leave. And phew.. he stayed for awhile longer. We were watching this very weird video of a guy in the middle of the night, walking through their local park. But anyway, Jero a bit later said he &#8220;was going to see a<br \/>\nfriend&#8221;. I said &#8220;you are welcome to come back, if you want&#8221;. And he left.. never to come back.<br \/>\nMalice feels this is all on Jero for not wanting to move on. He was willing to. I agree completely. This is stupid&#8230; but there&#8217;s nothing I can do.<\/p>\n<p>.<br \/>\nThe rest of the night, I did &#8216;find out&#8217; about Jelly. Malice never saw Jelly&#8217;s messages about breaking up the right way, still hurt over having no faith in him. That&#8217;s understandable.
