\n“I found a glitch!” -MIBIT<\/span> \/ A Griefer’s Life<\/strong><\/em>
\n=========================================================
\nTypically we’d (myself and MIBIT) would be playing Sea of Thieves around either 3 or 4pm (what time I usually wanna do it). This time it was 4pm as MIBIT’s brother came over to see him. It actually happened around 4:22pm when he was ready.
\nThis time we wanted to do Chapter 2, keeping the promise not to invite Sparky (no offense to him).
\nGot everything ready for the journey. A quarter in, it was becoming dark and I noticed another Sloop to my WNW that looked like it was hiding behind an island. It started moving after we passed it, going our course and matching our speed… which had me a bit nervous. MIBIT suggested if we should load the cannons and I told him to wait on that unless the ship suddenly turned toward us.
\nThen the fogbank develops as we get closer to the blue swirling light. I’m hoping this keeps the other ship from seeing us. We got to the light with no other issues, and head down to the bottom. Pretty uneventful, standard thing. I teach MIBIT how to easily solve the siren trident puzzle and we get to when you gotta fight the sirens for the first time.
\nAs I’m fighting them, MIBIT tells me he “found a glitch” that somehow brought him back to the ship. Said he tried to re-enter the room and got teleported back, leaving me to kill the sirens and I died.
\nWhen I came back, the sirens were gone. ..I am feeling a bit annoyed at MIBIT for finding this bug. Half of feels he did this delibertly to spite me, but I kept it to myself for obvious reasons. Like.. why in the fuck did he try to go back in there?! The doors are blocked for a reason! But.. he didn’t know. This is his first time. Told myself to calm the fuck down about it. ….Until he says “we can do this tomorrow” “UGH.. why is it
\nalways ‘tomorrow’ with you?! The fuck! Just get down here!” I wanted<\/em> to say but obviously didn’t. Instead I asked in a much more calm “why do it tomorrow? Why can’t we try this now?” manner. He explained why I wasn’t focused on (at all); him wanted me to have time to eat dinner and we could do it later. Hmmm. I was more annoyed not being able to do the encounter.
\nI said “well, this might not be bugged afterall” as I spotted another siren (but it wasn’t attacking me for some reason).

\nI died again. When I got to the Ferry I noticed another player with me. ..Huh. That’s odd. He never bothered looking at me to say hi, just kept looking away. I assumed he likely died somewhere else and didn’t really think much of it. Came back and tried to hunt down more sirens. As I was chasing one down I saw someone with a gray name. ..The fuck?? What’s another player doing he– the fucker kills me before I could say anything.

\nMy anger (shown above) after that…
\nOKAY, ASSHOLE!! I didn’t do SHIT to you, and THAT PISSED ME OFF!!! I respawned back, my anger boiling over wanting this griefing asshole dead. “COME HERE YOU FUCKER!!!” I yelled though my mic, chasing his ass down and killing him.
\nThe FUCK did I do to you?! I ended up dying to another siren. Around this time MIBIT unbugged himself and was able to assist me. And now there’s two of them. I yelled at them through the game audio and the other one kills me.
\nWe ended up spawn camping these assholes, myself thinking this is the only way to teach them a lesson of what happens when you grief people. They stopped showing up after
\nthe 7th or 8th respawn. MIBIT noticed this but I wasn’t willing to let down my guard. He convinced me that they learned their lesson and we can go back to questing.
\nAs I’m swimming back, I suddenly have a bad thought. “..They likely sunk our ship. That’s why they haven’t come back!” I tell him, still extremely annoyed by all of this. This slightly eats at me to the point I feel “ugh, just fuck this. We’ll head back and do it another time.”
\nWe go over to the siren statue, MIBIT clicks on it first and I wait for him to tell me what happened. He says “yep, we’re on an island”. …Fuck. I once again am just as mad as I was before as I click on the statue.

\nWe show up on a deserted island. ..Hoo boy did they piss off the wrong dragon. Our ship was perfectly fine, but all the stuff I bought from our journey was gone. All of that money spent was either stolen or now at the bottom of the sea.
\nOk, Rare. I get you. You wanted an authentic pirate game, a pirate game where you have to watch your back as there are liars and cheaters everywhere. A pirate game where your ship will likely be sunk and there’s nothing you can do about it.
\nBut, shouldn’t there come a time when this kind of behavior, of GRIEFING two people who were just mining their own DAMN BUSINESS, trying to enjoy your story content and I’m not allowed to report their asses because this is “intended behavior”?! You are
\nnow, scum in my book.
\nBUT<\/em>.. we will try this again tomorrow. And only on the chance of this was “a very, VERY rare incident” and “it will not happen again”. …It better fucking not, as this is the last straw for me. I mean it. I don’t care too much about the wasted gold. ..The fact the developer of this game ALLOWS THIS HORSESHIT as a way to ‘back’ their “HURRRR it’s a pirate<\/strong><\/span> game!!”, I extremely do care about (where I want to punch each and every single dev that came up with the idea of NOT having PvP be an option instead of forced.. in the dick).
\nHuh, a punch to the dick. That’s how your PvP feels to people like me and my BF trying to enjoy your non-PvP content!! Does it feel GOOD?! HUH?! Feels great to have all of that effort sunk to the bottom of the sea, doesn’t it?!
\nTell Jack Sparrow to get someone else that cares who will save the precious ‘Sea of Thieves’. More like ‘Sea of GRIEFERS’!!
\nI had asked in the SoT discord what the hell happened, if the other players showing up was a bug caused by MIBIT not understanding how the encounter works. All they told me
\nwas Chapters 1 and 3 are instanced, via the portal. And that didn’t help to defuse my anger. They didn’t even say “you can report them”. Nah, as long as it doesn’t involve using god tier weapons or god mode it’s OK to Rare, and I’m just a wimpy cry baby that can’t handle it (in their satanic minds). Rare is truly the spawn of Satan for creating this game, and anyone that dares to complain about it is put on a cross and sacrificed to the Reddit gods.
\nMaybe I’m going a bit overboard (or maybe not enough).
\n..Though I’m taking a day off to collect my thoughts before we head back out there again. But this is the last time I’m playing if it happens again (unless they finally have PvP as an option, which isn’t going to happen). You know why? ..Very few would actually play it, as
\nit “takes the fun out of griefing”.
\nThey could had done a similar thing to GTA5, to auto-flag you for PvP if you attack another player (even like Fallout 76 does). That’s one thing I’m glad Bethesda did, to keep the peace. But nah.. “ARR!! PIRATE game! PIRATE rules! KILL OR BE KILLED!! ARRR!!”
\nAnd this is why Ninjas are superiorly better. \ud83d\ude1b They would cut down these pirates, with stealth.

\n“The ending felt a bit disappointing”<\/strong><\/em>

\nStill feeling pissed of what happened, I didn’t get done with my dinner until 8pm when I finally calmed down. I didn’t wanna eat dinner. I wanted to choke a pig that
\nhad Rare’s logo crudely taped on its forehead, and scream out “YEAH, SQUEAL PIGGY!! FEEL MY ANGER!!” and then have my BF pull me away saying “hun it’s not worth it! We’ll get this done, I believe in us” and then kiss me.
\nThat’s not exactly what happened, but I could feel MIBIT understood my frustration enough for me to focus on eating. But I didn’t hop on VRChat until 9pm. I was talking to Jero instead if he would be interested in joining us for that horror world. Seemed to but never really gave me an ETA on when he’d be on.
\nI joined MIBIT in a new world. He’s been doing research for me looking for a new homeworld with a bed and seats on it (that he can lay down on, where we can have fun).
\nWe waited for Jero to join us. MIBIT suggested I let him(Jero) know we’re in and we’re waiting, so I did. No response. Waited longer, and longer. I checked again.. saw him in the call with Kovo and Dusky (them playing Destiny 2 as usual). Said to MIBIT “I don’t think Jero’s going to come. We might as well go”. I felt annoyed how Jero seemed interested and now he’s doing this. Nice to see some old habits of his, haven’t changed.
\n–
\nWe do Chapter 4 and complete it, completing the entire horror world. …Huh. So all you do after you defeat the boss, you leave the house (without your suitcase) and that’s it.
\nHow disappointing of you, Sayon. I expected a more satisfying ending (such as the boss coming back as if a ‘Part 2’ is in the works). However it has achievements, with one indicating Sayon expects you to do all four chapters in one run.
\nIt’s definitely doable (if you speedrun it). And we also never figured out what all of the cookies were for. :\/
\nStill feeling annoyed ‘that’s it’, I thought of my options and then remembered the map I tried to do a long time ago and never did; Sad Amelia. I used MIBIT as a beacon to light my way down these very dark corridors. He even told me something I wasn’t aware, that you can look down and see where you’re going. So that’s cool.
\nThere was also this one part where… the controls were inverted as we were upside down. OML how much I now hate this section!! So left is right, right is left. And up is down. ARGH!
\nIt ended without a satisfying ending, only Amelia explaining to the player why she’s so sad. Meh. So, I decided to say “let’s see the rest of Vket 6 before it ends”.

\nChecking out Vket 6 (again)<\/span> \/ Vket 7 date(s) revealed<\/strong><\/em>
\n=========================================================
\nWe started checking out the remaining Vket 6 worlds. Sure enough from what Nit found before, they did it differently this time. There was only 6 worlds that ended on my birthday and now we’re seeing the other 6.
\nSaw an ‘alternative’ version of a world I’ve been to before (different booths, that’s
\nit.. disappointing from Vket 3).<\/p>\n

…And then Inari shows up.

\nWe ‘speedran’ the booths, looking at everything as quick as we can.
\nBut..
\n
\nInari catches up to us…
\n
\nAnd Inari’s all (to me)…
\n<\/p>\n

Ohh lord. Eventually I do stop and totally didn’t lie to him when he asks “why were you running from me?” by saying “because it’s fun”. MIBIT actually told him the truth, but thankfully Inari didn’t take offense to it, and he stopped bugging us with the song(s). Thank you. \ud83d\ude42
\nSo it was myself, MIBIT, Inari, and a friend of mine (and his); Ravenclaw1998 (that I met through Wolfdog), and we checked out the rest of Vket’s worlds.
\nAfter some time Inari went to bed, and Ravenclaw left shortly after. I’m starting to get bored as there was no longer any cool worlds. Also greatly disappointed.. no dragons whatsoever. COME ON, Vket!! If this one’s based off of world festivals, where’s the Chinese New Year with the dragons?! The FUCK!!
\nOverall, I feel 6 is only slightly<\/span><\/em> better than 5 (mainly for the themes, the train, the Core world, and the realistic marketplaces). They had some pretty good ones this time.. just a complete lack of Chinese dragons.

\nFinally, in the Downtown Tokyo world, I came across a poster revealing the dates of a future Vket;
\n
\nSo Vket 7 happens between December 4th to the 18th and signups start the date Vket 6 ends. And also notice it’s not called ‘Virtual Market 7’, but ‘Virtual Market 2021’. \ud83e\udd14 Hmm… interesting. Maybe it’s a reboot, to bring back a lot of old favorites from
\nprevious Virtual Markets? I hope so.
\nWith both of us getting bored and MIBBIT getting tired quite fast, I thought of chilling with friends. But not just any friend. Novice, who happened to be on last night.
\nMIBIT was yawning his head off, and I told him “promise me you’ll take off your headset and get to bed if you fall asleep in VR, OK? I don’t want what happened to you the night before.”
\nHe promised it and I told him I loved him, and he said the same thing back in a very sleepy way.

\nJoined Novice who was in a world with 25 people. Oof. So many that I went around searching for him. Eventually found him in his small Ice Cream Hopkin avatar.
\nSome time passed of Novice talking with his friends while MIBIT and I snuggled infront of a mirror. The lag was getting to him and he told us “I’m going to head to my homeworld.”
\nI said “we could join if you want”. Said he didn’t mind. Took awhile until I finally got an invite after he left.
\nSo we’re in his chosen homeworld, just chatting about random stuff like mirrors and how some worlds make you work for it. I kept being interrupted when wanting to state how I remember that climbing world tells you to go up the tower in order to reach the mirror. Novice said he didn’t know that world even had one. I said how I remember there’s a tent with a ‘mirror’ in there and a button, and it tells you to scale the rock wall. Heh. By the time you get up there your arms would be screaming in agony to even click the button for the mirror.
\nThe conversation then goes to avatars, him showing off his ‘tiny Novice’ avatar. I tell him how MIBIT’s looking for an avatar with a proper sitting animation. But when I ask MIBIT to explain it… he’s not responding. *facepalm*
\nMIBIT, you better not be asleep!! He wakes up and lies to me, saying he was never asleep. Riiiiight. For him to prove this, I ask him if he heard what I was talking about. He said no.
\nYeah you’re tired. Go to bed. But he refused and fell asleep again. This time he wouldn’t wake up.
\n…Ohh MIBIT. Why do you do this to yourself? And also, HOW in the hell are you so tired this early? It’s 2:30 in the morning and you’re already asleep? Are you sure you’re feeling OK?

\nFantasying<\/strong><\/em>

\nSince MIBIT was fast asleep, I went over to Novice and we talked about some more personal things. He’s telling me how he’s discovered he likes people sitting on his face.
\nFor security reasons I won’t be saying the rest of what he said about this person, but I’m glad he’s happy. It makes me quite happy he found someone to ‘replace’ me since I have a BF now.
\nHe then lowers his voice, wanting to confess something to me. Says he “fantasizes ERPing with (me)” but didn’t want to say anything as he knows I’d be cheating on MIBIT if I allowed this (even though it’s not official. Not yet). I was happy he bought this up to my attention and how sweet it was. But… oof. Infact before he went to bed later on that
\nmorning, he told me he actually got a bit horny thinking about it. But rambling on helped to remove it. He knows it’s wrong to think of it but he can’t get it out of his head. It’s adorable but.. you know, not good too. Because I got to stay true to MIBIT. At least it’s aware of it and is trying to stop himself, instead of being the opposite and begging me for ERP.
\nBut as for my true<\/em> opinion on the matter, I was worried MIBIT might hear me and take it the wrong way. I wanted to move away and talk to Novice in a more secured area, but I was also worried he(MIBIT) would suddenly move and go to find me when I’m in the middle of explaining myself to Novice. So I took a gamble and told Novice, praying MIBIT wouldn’t hear me.
\nAfter Novice said “I apologize for bringing this up”, I said “it’s alright Novice. It’s nothing for you to feel ashamed of… because I feel this too. I loved our ERP sessions. They were wild”, smiling at him as I finished my words.
\nI then turned to MIBIT and said (incase he actually was listening): “but I have a
\ncute, handsome BF now that loves to do it with me. He’s also a switch and there was a time I had to remind him I’m a top” in order to express any remaining intact loyalty he might feel he has for me.

\nSome time later, MIBIT suddenly wakes up on his own and says “right, I’m going to bed now.” Went over to him and gave him a kiss and told him I loved him. I’m not absolutely sure if he said he loved me too, only that I remember asking Novice of how to pronounce his name. Then he left. I kept thinking about him not saying “love you too” all
\nmorning, more focused on it instead of what Novice told me about him fantasizing of me that way. Told myself “he probably did say it, you likely weren’t fully listening. Just don’t worry about it until tomorrow”.
\nBut.. wow. Seem to really have something that makes people want the D, don’t I? Too bad it doesn’t work on women. Meh. :\/ Oh well.<\/p>\n

Can’t stop thinking about it though. Oh and I’m happy to say MIBIT wasn’t listening to me or Novice about that. So I don’t have to worry now. Thank goodness.
\nBut.. mmm. What.. even.. IS the definition of an “unofficial” relationship, anyway? And am I still OK to “see other people” at this time?

\nI have until September 7th to decide to make it official. This will be a month since we started, and it’s when MIBIT starts working. He needs to know his hours to see when he’ll be able to have time to snuggle with me in VRChat, and prays they won’t mess up this relationship (which sadly did when I dated Jero). He doesn’t believe there would be a problem though.
\nGonna try to ask Frost about this, as Jero suggested (yes I talked to him about it, and then some). Hopefully he’ll be able to clear up the confusion in my mind.
\nThough… mmm… I wish Novice never brought this up to me. It’s cute that he still has that desire, but.. yeah, he knows it’s wrong too. But, shouldn’t that only be when it’s official?
\nThat’s why I dunno, but I don’t wanna do anything<\/strong> that could jeopardize this relationship. I love MIBIT to bits!
\nThere was also this thing with Novice that happened sometime after MIBIT left, of him not regretting the breakup. Again it wasn’t me(at all) that caused it to end. I was fine. He again feels he just cannot commit to any relationship like this (fearing he won’t have enough time to be with them). And I told him how it hurt.. a lot, but I got over it and we’re still close friends.. and it’s still a God given miracle Jero and I are friends again.
