So I went to bed early, feeling quite tired. And this morning I had probably one of the scariest nightmares in a long time. It’s related to the lack of Net Neutrality, and I feel the nightmare was created by this video<\/a> of cell phone companies throttling access to YouTube and Netflix. It also could be fueled by Article 13 in the EU (which doesn’t affect the USA). \nThe nightmare, simply put, is Discord rolling out ‘meme packages’; blocking access to several free emojis (and even detecting if you’re posting a meme in any server), making people have to pay $50 \/mo just to post memes (and emojis) again.
\nI could also see the chaos that happened after it; rioting in the streets. Things like this.

\nThis felt like a warning, that I was tasked to tell people of what’s to come in the future. It may not even happen, but it just felt so real.
